       09/03/05 More Horrific News Stories

This is insane. More and more I am convinced that Bush is so terrified of photos of piled up bodies wrecking next year's election chances for the GOP that he's willing to let the survivors starve to death rather that risk cameras getting in or out.
Remember after the Tsunami? There were photos on the net within 24 hours taken by survivors showing the damage from right there on the ground. In New Orleans, we are getting reports of National Guard confiscating and destroying cameras. Radio amateurs report that someone is jamming the frequencies they would normally be able to use to communicate with radio hams in New Orleans (many of whom keep their own generators in order to be able to communicate during disasters).
But other than a precious few photos provided by controlled media, New Orleans is blacked out.- Comment by Michael Rivero on What Really Happened

09/03/05 Kayne West Rips Bush During NBC Concert

It went out live in the East, But of course those WHORES at NBC Censored it for the West Coast feed, which aired 3 Hours Later

NEW YORK - It began, fittingly enough, with jazz from New Orleans natives Harry Connick Jr. and Wynton Marsalis. But "A Concert for Hurricane Relief," a heartfelt and dignified benefit aired on NBC and other networks Friday night, took an unexpected turn thanks to the outspoken rapper Kanye West.

Appearing two-thirds through the program, he claimed " George Bush doesn't care about black people" and said America is set up "to help the poor, the black people, the less well-off as slow as possible."

The show, simulcast from New York on NBC, MSNBC, CNBC and Pax, was aired live to the East Coast, enabling the Grammy-winning rapper's outburst to go out uncensored.

There was a several-second tape delay, but the person in charge "was instructed to listen for a curse word, and didn't realize (West) had gone off-script," said NBC spokeswoman Rebecca Marks.

West's comment about the president was cut from NBC's West Coast airing, which showed three hours later on tape.
