5 More U.S. Soldiers Dead Among 110 In Iraq

Excerpt:
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Suicide bombers targeted Shiite pilgrims in the south and police recruits in central Iraq, and a roadside bomb killed five U.S. soldiers, bringing Thursday's death toll to at least 110 people in a series of attacks as politicians tried to form a coalition government.
The two-day toll from insurgent attacks rose to 163, reflecting a dramatic upsurge in bloodshed following the Dec. 15 parliamentary elections. Some leading Sunni politicians accuse the Shiite-led government of condoning fraud in the voting.

James Moore: 'Branded: I'm on the government's 'no fly' list'

Excerpt:
"I'm sorry, sir," she said. "There seems to be a problem. You've been placed on the No Fly Watch List."
"Excuse me?"
"I'm afraid there isn't much more that I can tell you," she explained. "It's just the list that's maintained by TSA to check for people who might have terrorist connections."
"You're serious?"
"I'm afraid so, sir. Here's an 800 number in Washington. You need to call them before I can clear you for the flight."
Exasperated, I dialed the number from my cell, determined to clear up what I was sure was a clerical error. The woman who answered offered me no more information than the ticket agent.
"Mam, I'd like to know how I got on the No Fly Watch List."

H.L.s take
Soon we will all be on the no fly list. That is unless every airline goes bankrupt and out of business, making it impossible for anyone to fly except rich corporate executives on thier Lear Jets. Then all Bush has to do is close the borders and not let anyone leave. It will be the biggest prison in the world.

Following The Abramoff Money -- And It Didn't Go To Democrats

Excerpt:
Of the $204,000 that went to people running for the House and Senate, not one dime went to a Democrat. Yes, that's correct – 100 percent of Abramoff's personal donations went to Republican candidates or, in an extremely isolated case, he gave $750 to Howard Phillips of Virginia to run for something or other on the Constitution Party platform in the mid 1990s.
Other than that, it was all GOP money. Who were the biggest piglets at that trough? Little Tom DeLay picked up a cool $15,000, or over seven percent of the total all by himself. Congressman Eric Cantor (R-VA), who Tom DeLay made one of his lieutenants a couple of years ago, snagged $13,000 and Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) took almost $10,000 over the last 10 years.

H.L.s take
Of course the corporate controlled media will make it look like there was just as many Democrats, as Republicans involved. They will throw a couple of patsies up who will have to resign, or if they are arrested, Bush will pardon them. End of Story.
