Stern Show a Favorite of Radio Pirates

Sirus Radio who recently hired Howard Stern for 500 Million Dollars a year, has been reporting that Sterns show which debuted January 9, is being pirated by fans and put on file sharing services such as Bear Share. Stern, left regular terrestrial radio at the end of last year due to constant hassles from the FCC, and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of fines, which were paid by his former employer Infinity Broadcasting. A former republican supporter who has seen the light is a big Bush basher, which is part of the reason for so much trouble with the FCC in the first place.
Listeners of the show are pirating each and every broadcast and have them up on the file sharing networks within a couple of hours after the show ends each morning. Pirate Radio operators in New York, and New Jersey, are taking Sterns show and putting it up on unused radio frequencies. Sirius has sent out cease and desist letters to anyone they caught illegally broadcasting the show, but it has not stopped listeners from getting the show for free on the internet.
Stern, not wanting to alienate his fans, is walking a fine line between losing business, and losing listeners. He has not come down on his audience that are listening for free, but did asked repeatedly that fans pay the 42 cents a day that the broadcast would cost.

Bush Wants ANOTHER 70 Billion For Iraq War.

President Bush, who started an illegal war, based on lies, a war that has thus far cost the American taxpayer 225 Billion Dollars, is now requesting another 70 Billion to fight that war in which 2,245 U.S. soldiers have died. Even thought it is now common knowledge that Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction as Bush, and Colin Powell promised us he did. The war goes on with no end in site, people keep dying and Bush, and his family and friends continue to get obscenely rich.
The real reason for the war is so that Bush, a failed oil man, and Cheney who was the former head of Halliburton, and still owns many thousands of shares of stock in the company that gets all the no bid contracts, could go in and grab up all of Iraq’s oil from the second largest reserve of untapped oil on the planet. Meanwhile Gas prices inch back up toward the 3 dollar a gallon level.
Bush yesterday made a statement that we don’t have to worry about him doing anything about fuel prices because its just the way the marketplace works. So just why is it that we are over there anyway. Oh yeah that’s right, to fight the war on terra, but since There were no WMDs and none of the highjackers on 9/11 are from Iraq, That does not seem to be the real reason. As my good friend Bart, from Bartcop.com explains Bush and Cheney are stealing over 100 Million Dollars a day on this war. Iraq was pumping out 2 million barrels of oil a day before the Halliburton upgrades in 2002. The current price of a barrel of oil is around 67 dollars, which means that Bush and Cheney stole 135 Million yesterday alone. Is it any wonder that we have to continue to fight a war against terrorists that did not exist before the war started, and all because 19 fanatical Egyptians managed to highjack 4 planes, penetrate the U.S. Air defense system which for some reason was ordered to stand down on the morning of September 11, 2001, while the planes crashed into the World Trade Center, and Pentagon, as Bush sat in a classroom in Florida reading a goat book to a bunch of kids.
Of course congress, especially the Democrats whom were attacked with Anthrax a couple of days after 9/11 will fall over themselves to approve the 70 Bil. While more, and more Americans have no health insurance, and no one can find jobs paying as much as they were making 5 years ago.
The House of Representatives yesterday passed a budget resolution that would cut 39 Billion of programs that go to help the poor in the country, like all those poor people that lost their homes in Hurricane Katrina, because Bush, Chertoff, and Michael Brown, let everyone die for 5 days before they even decided to show up in New Orleans. Well with that 39 Billion dollar budget cut, that will affect hundreds of thousands of people for many years, now we only need to come up with another 31 Billion to pay for the war for the next 7 months. (of course that’s on top of the money in the budget that was already going to fight the war, and pay for the military.) What a deal.
