Imagine you are in a place that is hot, nasty, with bad food, bad water, and bad leadership. You were supposed to be home 6 months ago, but you may never get there. You might start to get a little crazy, which is what is happening in Iraq.

SAN DIEGO – An investigation into the death of an Iraqi civilian has led to assault charges against six Marines accused of injuring civilians in the village of Hamdania in April, officials said.
Three of the men are already being held on murder charges in the death of 52-year-old Hashim Ibrahim Awad, an Iraqi civilian. Military officials said Thursday the assaults were uncovered during an investigation into the slaying.
A seventh Marine, an officer, is expected to be charged next week in the assault case, said Lt. Col. Colby Vokey, the Marine Corps’ defense coordinator for the western United States.
H.L.s Take
Just one more way Bush ruins lives. These guys should not have been there in the first place, but they will probably do hard time because Bush put them in an impossible situation.

I find it really hard to believe that most of the Americans do not support the war in Iraq. Freedom is definately something that we have to fight for. Do I want Americans to get killed? Of course not!! No one does. But, the men and women fighting in the military are volunteers! They signed up! I have known and am related to veterens and actively serving soldiers. They all know why they are fighting and moral is high. We are in a war against an enemy that is very jealous of our way of life. I am often very disappointed and offended at those entertainers who exert their access to being on televison to bash our President and state their often distasteful opinions. Their is a lot of disrespectful comments made by them and the other 98% of America really gets tired of their comments. I am not saying that they do not have the right to express their opinions but I wish that there was some integrity and respect in it. They have consistently made fun of our President’s intelligence. Well, I do not think that a Yale graduate is stupid. Our President is doing an awesome job!!! I feel safer now than I ever have as an adult. I know that he is going to act if we are threatened!!! He doesn’t turn a blind eye to the evil rulers in other countries. The only non-war effort that can be made with countries seeking to destroy is to allow them to do their own thing. That would involve genocides and holocosts!!! That is what has been happening in Iraq. As far as North Korea. Wow! What an evil ruler who does not even care about his people. His army marches like the Nazi’s of World War II!!! His people are starving and he is currently performing nuclear missile tests! How can anyone blame our President for that! I side with the a protecter not a manipulator to protect my family.

As far as these marines being accused. I guarantee you that we do not know even half of the whole story to this one. How do we know anything? The civilian could have had a weapon!!! It is the media wagging the dog again I can assure you. Why would anyone think President Bush is really ruining lives. Do you actually believe that about him? What is your plan for dealing with these villians? Oh, peace. They do not want peace. One can not negotiate with terrorists on their terms. That would involve the threat of another 9/11!!! Can you not see that? I am not trying to be rude, but really, we have to continue our war efforts!!! The soldiers fighting over there enlisted in the military and they know why they are there. I don’t like people getting killed any more than you do. But, we must not pull out!
