Saturday Night Concert: Pink Floyd

Get ready for some really trippy music with Pink Floyd. This is from Floyd’s movie “Live at Pompeii”, it was shot in 1971, right before they became huge. I saw these guys live on February 27, 1980 at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. They performed “The Wall” in one of only 10 shows on the entire tour. 5 in NY, and 5 in L.A. (we will be featuring some footage from those shows on a later Saturday Night Concert.) OK twist one up, turn on the black lights, drop it if you got it, and get ready for some Pink Floyd.

OK its time for a new feature on The H.L. The Saturday Late Night Concert. Thanks to You Tube we can show videos without having to upload them. I’ve seen other sites do this late night music thing, but usually only one song. Since we all steal from each other anyway, I am expanding the idea into a concert. Here is one of my all time favorite bands, Saw them 3 times back in the day, and they are from my hometown. Here they are The Ramones Warning: Turn the volume up to 10 for full effect.
