This is how we will find out if the Democrats really are on our side, or are just the other side of the facist Republican coin. Below is a list of Democratic Senators who have not signed on to a bill that would reverse Bush’s Constitution measure. If you live in one of these states, get on the phone and call and ask why they are not behind The US Constitution.

It’s been a couple of months since we last looked in on the status of S.185, and with congress now back in session, today seemed as good a time as any.Well, I’m sorry to report, nothing much has changed. It appears the restoration of habeas corpus is a low priority issue in the senate.
Here’s the list of democratic senators who still haven’t signed on:
Daniel Akaka (D-HI)
Max Baucus (D-MT)
Evan Bayh (D-IN)
Robert Casey (D-PA)
Kent Conrad (D-ND)
Byron Dorgan (D-ND)
Daniel Inouye (D-HI)
Tim Johnson (D-SD)
Herb Kohl (D-WI)
Mary Landrieu (D-LA)
Blanche Lincoln (D-AR)
Barbara Mikulski (D-MD)
Patty Murray (D-WA)
Ben Nelson (D-NE)
Jack Reed (D-RI)
Harry Reid (D-NV)
Charles Schumer (D-NY)
Jon Tester (D-MT)
James Webb (D-VA)
Ron Wyden (D-OR)I’m asking, once again, for everyone to contact their Senator if they have not signed on to co-sponsor this bill, and to contact Sen. Reid and encourage him to bring it to the floor for a vote.
