She knew she had about ten minutes before preparing his breakfast in order to have it on the table and to make sure it was still hot when he was finished. He had the same thing every morning; two eggs over easy – don’t break the yolks, cream of wheat – not instant and no lumps, toast light brown with grape jelly and butter, three pieces of bacon, orange juice and coffee. Republicans Trying to Steal California in ’08

The Republicans, in their never ending quest to win elections dishonestly are hard at work trying to figure out how to steal next years election. Maybe that’s why Karl Rove left the White House, to spend all his time trying to come up with a way to grab the 2008 vote. Now a Lawyer that helped get Arnold Scwarzeneggar elected Governor, is trying to steal California for the Republicans. You remember how they foisted Arnold on us. Some guy who made millions on one of the most annoying, yet most useless inventions ever, the car alarm, decided to spend a few million of his own money to have Governor Grey Davis recalled. They were blaming Enron, and California’s energy woes that were a result of that on Davis and got the signatures for the recall. Of course this was back when Republicans had the nation in their back pocket. The poor fool who spent all the money on the recall thought he would become the new Governor, but he got screwed over by The Republican party. (gee what a surprise) when they decided to run someone that people knew, another mouthpiece like Reagan.
Now a Lawyer who helped get Arnold in has a new trick, he’s trying to get an initiative on the ballot that would split up California’s electoral vote. He is going to try to have it decided in the Primary election which is on June 3, of next year. Of course he is figuring that most people don’t bother to vote in the Primaries in California, and he can get all his Republican minions out to vote on this thievery. Thomas Hiltachk, who specializes in ballot referenda that try to fool people in the titles and fine print, is sponsoring a ballot initiative for the June 3, 2008, California primary (which now falls four months after the state’s presidential primary). The Presidential Election Reform Act would award the state’s electoral votes based on who wins each congressional district. Had this idea been in effect in 2004, Bush would have won 22 electoral votes from California, about the same number awarded the winners of states like Illinois or Pennsylvania. In practical terms, adopting the initiative would mean that the Democratic candidate would likely have to win both Ohio and Florida in 2008 (instead of one or the other) to be elected…
Hiltachk, who is lying low for now, is a former campaign lawyer for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. The governor’s office says Schwarzenegger has no position on the initiative and “had absolutely nothing to do with its development.” But whichever way Schwarzenegger goes, several GOP presidential candidates and their financial backers have already offered to help boost the plan. Just interested in good government? They’ve shown a curious lack of interest in backing the same idea in Red States.

They don’t want to do it in the Red States, just here in California. So if this plan were to go through, and the Republicans again steal either Florida, or Ohio, or some other big state that they are probably working on right now, we will have yet another GOPer to run this country even further into the ground. As I reported here last week Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, the Millionaire behind the largest “liberal website” on the planet Daily Kos, who grew up as a Reagan youth, joined the military, and as I speculated was possibly a member of the CIA; did indeed sign up for the CIA, but claims that he decided not to join because he didn’t want to live in Washington, and he wanted to join the Howard Dean campaign. umm hmmm. Here is Markos, as reported by My Left Wing.com

Here’s a little secret I don’t think I’ve ever written about: But in 2001, I was unemployed, underemployed, unemployed. You know I was in that . . You all have been there “dot com” people? Kinda like, in between jobs, doin’ a little contract work and . . . kinda. So, you know. That’s where I was: in this really horrible netherworld of ‘will I make rent next month’ and . . .
So, I applied to the CIA and I went all the way to the end, I mean it was to the point where I was going to sign papers to become Clandestine Services. And it was at that point that the Howard Dean campaign took off and I had to make a decision whether I was gonna kinda join the Howard Dean campaign, that whole process, or was I was going to become a spy.

As I have pointed out, it’s strange that the two biggest biggest liberal websites are owned and operated by former Republicans, also strange how Kos, and Ariana Huffington, the owner of Huffington Post, are constantly being called on by the mainstream media to provide “progressive views” for the news. Last year, in a piece Markos wrote for the Cato (libertarian) Institute, Markos acknowledged that the spent the 1980’s as a Reagan Republican. MARKOS’ CATO ARTICLE, Yes, “Progessive” Markos of DailyKos was a Reagan Republican!!!!!!!!
How did Markos achieve this stunning metamorphosis in just a few short years? Actually, nobody knows and Markos isn’t telling. He has told interviewers, improbably, that he last voted for the Republicans in 1992, because he suddenly realized that they didn’t support “states rights” as strongly as he would have liked.

So the guy is a lifelong Republican with CIA ties, and he suddenly decides he is going to do a 180 over states rights? That seems like a pretty minor reason to make a complete life change. States rights is pretty far down the list of importance for Republicans, I mean there is endless war, the never ending fight to screw the poor, the laborers, the middle class, the soldiers, gays, immigrants, and basically anyone who wasn’t born rich. If you asked most Republicans their opinion on states rights they wouldn’t have an intelligent comment about it if they even knew what it was.

Kos has been accused of some very Republican like tactics when it comes to dealing with people who are against him. Kos is in alliance with the progressive blog mydd.com, and that site has done some strong arming of people who dare to disparage the mighty kos. My Left Wing points out one example

But there is so much to say about this. I was banned from participation in MyDD and notified in writing that the banning was because I violated the unspoken rule against criticizing Markos Moulitsas

So Now Kos is the darling of the mainstream media, you know those guys who will never stop licking Bush’s crack no matter how low his ratings go. The guys that get up there with a straight face every night and report on everything Bush as if he is the most beloved statesman this nation has ever seen. Take a look at Kos schedule for the next couple of days as reported by Kos himself.

I’ll be on Meet the Press tomorrow morning for a “debate” with Harold Ford of the DLC. I’ll be on Charlie Rose on Monday night. And I’ll be back on the Colbert Report on Wednesday evening, where I’ll be getting my ass handed to me by the master himself.

When I did my interview with Henry Waxman the other day, a blogger put up on Daily Kos the segment where I asked Waxman about hearings for Sibel Edmonds. The “Kossacks” as they are called were all waiting for Henry to schedule the hearings about a case that involves drug running, trading state secrets, trading nuclear information with Turkey, and Israel, and involving both Democrats and Republicans. They all thought Henry was just biding his time. When they heard Waxman tell me in the interview that he had no opinion about Edmonds, and no intention of scheduling hearings for a state department employee and FBI whistleblower, some of the Kossacks began to have meltdowns proclaiming that this was the last straw, and they now finally see that Democracy is BS, and the whole thing was just a joke. That’s because they have been buying into that whole Kos mindset of working within the system, of lets just sit back and wait for the democrats to save us while the Republicans run roughshod over the US treasury, and the American people for 8 years. Welcome to the world of reality people.

Addendum: I want to clarify one point, many of the readers of Daily Kos are not just sitting back and waiting, they actually make calls to members of congress and send emails. My problem with many of them was not that they do nothing, but in their wholehearted belief in a system that they are now just starting to realize is not going to work. So once again, Welcome to reality people


Was John Edwards in on 9/11?

Take a look at this short interview Barbara Walters did with John Edwards on the evening of September 11, 2001. Edwards, who is on the Senate Intelligence Committee had met that day with CIA director George Tenant. Walters asks if it is possible that the attack came from within the United States while the rest of the MSM has already been saying it was Bin Laden. When Edwards is asked the question he starts doing what all politicians do when they get a question they don’t want to answer, they find a way not to answer it. So he knew something, maybe he just didn’t want to lie. I guess killing 3,000 Americans and launching us into a war that killed hundreds of thousands more people, is OK, but lying about it is bad.

Bill O’Reilly Terrified of Liberal Bloggers

That S**t spewing gas bag Bill O’Reilly has been on a crusade lately against Liberal Bloggers. Bill is beginning to feel the heat. His ratings have been heading south for years, and what viewers he does have are in the 70+ age range, not the type of demographic Fox news is looking for. They can’t sell cars, Coke, or Mickey D’s to people who stay home on a fixed income wondering how they are going to get by until the next Social Security check comes.
While Bill, and all mainstream media including newspapers numbers go down, The Internet is picking up the slack. Why?, simple, people realize that you can find the truth in the blogs, not some watered down lies and propaganda you get on ABC, NBC, Fox Etc. O’Reilly is now concerned that we are blackmailing Democratic members of congress. A Nation in Distress:A Moral Call to Action

One of the greatest social observations of our time is the song “Piggies” by the Beatles:

“In their styes with all their backing
They don’t care what goes on around
In their eyes there’s something lacking
What they need’s a damn good whacking…”

It represents the working middle-class struggle against the establishment, i.e. the capitalists, government for hire, those who wage war away from home for world conquest while refusing to take care of their own people. Although Charles Manson tried to make it his own with blood-filled terror when he committed the Tate-Labianca murders, he was unsuccessful. This song still remains a cry for revolution.

When I first heard this song I was a teenager in the late eighties and my thoughts ran along the lines of anger towards all authority as in “Hell, yeah, down with the Piggies”. Of course then I viewed the song as more of a cry for anarchy and at that age I could really dig that. As I grow older the song comes back to haunt me with thoughts of what can I do, how can I fight this establishment? How do I help preserve democracy? I have come to the realization that you cannot sit idly by and watch democracy fall. In their eyes there’s something lacking, it is called humanity. I decided to create a moral call to action in order to take a stand.

The first thing I will do is fly my American flag upside down, which signifies a nation in distress. No one can argue this stance. While we send our troops to die in an unjust war, Americans are barely surviving natural disasters (Hurricane Katrina, Greensburg, Kansas) across our nation and lacking the support they need to rebuild. People are going without health care. Homelessness runs rampant, and domestic violence is on the rise. I challenge everyone who feels that this nation is in distress to do the same. We should then have a march down Main Street, USA flying our flags upside down.

I will fly my star and stripes at half-mast. Although it is stated that the President of the United States generally makes the decision when a flag should be flown at half-mast, I can no longer allow a man with questionable sanity to make decisions about my patriotism. This country is in mourning, I am in mourning, and my family is in mourning as long as our soldiers continue to die. I pledge that their deaths will not go unnoticed by me. As long as our government continues to provide negligent care for our soldiers when they do come home, this nation is in mourning. As long as my fellow citizens are going hungry in a land of plenty, we are in mourning. As long as we continue to allow the imprisonment and torture of people who have not been given the benefit of innocent until proven guilty, we are in mourning. Do I need to go on?

I will no longer pledge allegiance to a flag that has come to represent the Corporate States of America. A country, A GREAT NATION, cannot be run with visions of profit or global domination. Its resources must be used to better the lives of all of the people who live in it and then shared with the world.

I encourage the removal of our current administration by whatever democratic means necessary. We the people spoke in the Declaration of Independence written in 1776 “That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.” We the people spoke again in the November, 2006 election
It was clear: end the War, impeach Bush, and preserve the unalienable rights of the people, which are equality, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The time has come, these unalienable rights are in peril and the power to change the course of history falls upon the People.

I now issue a citizen’s arrest for George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.

I will go one step further and state that as long as Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, refuses to do what the constituents have asked her to do, then it is necessary and vital in order for a continued democracy that she be removed from power too. I request that the Congress be charged with treason for going against the wishes of the people and harboring enemies of the state: George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.

It is said that action can be the enemy of thought. If we could just stop…listen…we would hear and understand the task that has been set before us. It is a necessity, an unalienable right to preserve democracy.

Start the revolution, it begins with you.
