Democrats Pull Flag Draped Coffin Ad.

Excerpt
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Democrats pulled an Internet ad that showed flag-draped coffins Friday after Republicans and at least two Democrats demanded it be taken down on grounds the image was insensitive and not fit for a political commercial.
The ad by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee called for a “new direction” and displayed a staccato of images, including war scenes, pollution and breached levees as well as a photograph of former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay doctored to look like a police mug shot.

H.L.s Take:
This is the reason why the weak, spineless, simpering, whimpering, pathetic pussy’s who call themselves Democrats will LOSE AGAIN BIG TIME in November. They simply refuse to fight at every given opportunity. I cannot overemphasize how much disgust I have for them for doing this. How much more do they need to learn the lesson, that coming across as the good guys who won’t lower themselves to the type of ploys used by republicans on a regular basis simply does not work. The only Democrat I have any respect at all for is Russ Feingold, and Henry Waxman. There is no way the Democrats will let Feingold have the nomination, in ’08, just like they fell all over themselves to make sure that Howard Dean did not get the nomination last time.
The only real reason I can come up with, again, is that Democrats don’t want to win. They make plenty of money getting paid off by Republicans and they are all in the same boat together. Most Dems will probably campaign for Lieberman even if he loses the primary in Connecticut because he is a member of the club. I heard an interview with Chris Dodd the other Senator from Connecticut yesterday on Air America Radio, they asked him just that, if he will back Lieberman if he loses in the election. Dodd refused to answer the question, but he licked Lieberman’s ass so hard saying how great he was that I am sure he must have sprained his tongue. If anyone other then Feingold gets the nomination, I am voting for Nader, and I don’t care how close the goddam election is. I have had it with Dems refusing to fight.

50 Easy Questions to Ask Any Republican

Huffington Post
Excerpt
Anyone can ask tough, intricate, confrontational questions. But all that ever does is start an argument, and it gets people nowhere. On the other hand, these are…well, easy. These are friendly questions. These are questions that allow another person to actually explain their thoughts, and explain fully. And to do so in as comfortable, as simple a way as possible.
Without feeling attacked. Without feeling pressure. Without feeling no one cares what they have to say. Friendly. Easy.

1. What are the Top Seven best things that the Bush Administration has done?

2. Is the Iraq War is going well?

3. After three years thus far, when do you think Iraq might be able to “stand up” so that America can “stand down”?

4. For his part in the event, how would you rate the job the President did protecting New Orleans from devastation?

5. How do you think the rebuilding of New Orleans is going?

6. When Dick Cheney and the oil company and energy executives met in private to plan America’s energy policy, how much of their goal was to benefit consumers?

H.L.s Take:
Ok guys, You can answer these questions, and any others on the list here. Lets here from everyone.

Iraq gunmen seize 24 people, killing 20

AP

More than 1,607 Iraqis have been killed and nearly 2,500 wounded since al-Maliki’s unity government took office May 20, according to an Associated Press count.

The top U.S. commander in Iraq said that “terrorists and death squads” are mainly responsible for a surge in sectarian violence in the capital, and he pledged to provide whatever U.S. forces are needed to avert civil war.

Gen. George Casey, at a joint news conference with Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, told reporters that al-Qaida is carrying out terrorist killings in the Baghdad area in an attempt to “demonstrate that they are still relevant” after the June 7 killing of their leader in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

H.L.s Take:
Whaaat?? you mean the killing in Iraq has INCREASED since Zarqawi was killed, and his body shown all over the world news for days on end? I don’t understand, I thought Bush said that taking out the “terrorists” would stop the violence. So in other words, every time you take out one guy who is pissed off that you are occupying his country, another will step up and take his place, and more people will join agaisnt you???? WHO COULD HAVE PREDICTED?????

Defense Department Going After Freedom of Information Act

San Antonio.com
Excerpt:
The Express-News reported Friday that St. Mary’s University’s Center for Terrorism Law has received a $1 million Defense Department grant “to limit the scope of the Freedom of Information Act.”
Journalists get slippery-slope worries when we hear the Pentagon wants to alter a law that allows the sun to shine on what politicians and government officials do behind closed doors.

Army to End Expansive, Exclusive Halliburton Deal
.

Washington Post
Excerpt: The Army is discontinuing a controversial multibillion-dollar deal with oil services giant Halliburton Co. to provide logistical support to U.S. troops worldwide, a decision that could cut deeply into the firm’s dominance of government contracting in Iraq.

The choice comes after several years of attacks from critics who saw the contract as a symbol of politically connected corporations profiteering on the war.

Under the deal, Halliburton had exclusive rights to provide the military with a wide range of work that included keeping soldiers around the world fed, sheltered and in communication with friends and family back home. Government audits turned up more than $1 billion in questionable costs. Whistle-blowers told how the company charged $45 per case of soda, double-billed on meals and allowed troops to bathe in contaminated water.

Excerpt:
Oh oh, Dick Cheneys not going to like this. I wouldn’t be suprised to see some high level army heads rolling, then a sudden reversal of this decision.

9/11 News: Truth Movement Acknowledged by MSM, Bruce Willis Sees The Light?

9-11 “Conspiracy” Theory Penetrating Mainstream Media

NBC-4 Milwaukee
Excerpt
“There isn’t a single word of truth in it,” begins Kevin Barrett. Barrett is a lecturer at UW Madison. He’s part of a group that calls itself the 9-11 Truth Movement. “I’m sure that the official story that we’ve been given about what happened is a lie,” he says.
His proof? The toppling of the twin towers. Barrett calls it a smoking gun. He doesn’t think the fire from the jets that crashed into the towers caused the collapse. His group believes it was explosives.

H.L.s TakeThis is the guy we had on the video yesterday. The movement continues to grow. Latest traveller back to the real world. Bruce Willis.

Michelle Malkin Fears Bruce Willis Has Stopped Drinking The Kool-Aid

Prison Planet
Excerpt:
Welcome Back BruceFollowing our exclusive yesterday about A Scanner Darkly director Richard Linklater’s efforts to spread 9/11 truth within the film making community, including formerly ‘die-hard’ Neo-Con Bruce Willis, a Bushist blog has voiced its fears that Willis has left the fold of the government apologist crowd.

Hot Air is a popular video blog, founded by Neo-Con poster child Michelle Malkin, created to challenge the supposed liberal domination of the Internet streaming video market.

Calling Willis’ apparent re-think on his political stance, “Like Schwarzenegger converting to Islam,” Hot Air quotes from our story.

Linklater said he had handed out DVD’s on set which carried claims that 9/11 was perpetrated by the US government to erect a police state to Bruce Willis, one of the stars of Linklater’s upcoming Fast Food Nation.

“He said it put him in such a head space that he will be quiet on issues of national policy.”

Linklater said Willis had told him in an e mail that the videos had changed his entire political paradigm.
