David Herrold, Lay’s stepson: “I am angry because of the way that he was treated in the last five years of his life … and I’m feeling a lot of joy … He had a lot of loving friends … He did have a strong faith in God, and I know he’s in heaven. And I’m glad he’s not in a position any more to be whipped by his enemy.”
H.L.s Take:
He will no longer be whipped by his enemy? You mean the people of the United States?? They were his enemy, the people of the United States don’t like being ripped off to the tune of Billions by some Rich super connected asshole who is operating on behalf of The President of The United States.
Reverend Dr. William Lawson: “He reached out to touch many people from many backgrounds … many economic levels … that included minorities like me.”
“Ken Lay was neither black nor poor, but I’m angry because Ken Lay was a victim of a lynching.”
“The folks who don’t like him have had their say. I’d like to have mine … (Like Jesus Christ) he was crucified by a government that mistreated him.”
H.L.s Take:
Ken Lay was a victim of a lynching?? Yep, A jury of his peers took a rope, threw it up over a tree, and hung his ass while they all sat around and drank Budweiser. Nice how when the courts rule against one of theirs its a lynching, but when a court rules against anyone else, its justice. These lies coming from a man of god?? Hey Lawson, you ever hear this term: “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.” When you say that Lay was lynched you are saying that the jury lied, the prosecutor lied, that everyone lied. I bet this Lawson guy never even bothered to look at the facts. Typical republicans, I want this guy teaching his morality to me. Was there ever a more clear indication that organized religion is the biggest crock of S**t in the world.
Ray Phillips, Lay’s brother-in-law: “I cried when he was falsely convicted. One thing I know is he was innocent. Ken always took the high road and looked for the best in everyone.”
“My entire family suffered a severe financial loss. Not one of us blamed Ken because we know he did everything he could to keep it from happening.”
H.L.s Take:
Yeah I’m sure his brother in law lost lots of money on Enron stock while Lay was selling his while giving the impression he was buying. He says Lay was falsely convicted, but of course does not provide one shred of evidence that the conviction was incorrect, just spouts his mouth off with nothing to backup what he says, another typical republican.
Mick Seidl, longtime friend: “Overzealous federal prosecutors have vilified an exceedingly good man … They did so without visible efforts to seek the truth, and the media piled on. It was total character assassination … I do know Ken would never intentionally do anything illegal.”
H.L.s Take:
“They did so without visible efforts to seek the truth” Excuse me but isn’t that what a trial is for. Ken Lay was tried and convicted, end of story. He was guilty, and you lying hypocrites all know it you lying sacks of human garbage.
Reverend Steve Wende, pastor at First Methodist Church of Houston which Lay attended: Lay was “in many ways a great hero to me.”
“At the height of his power and position … he used the position to lift others up.”
H.L.s Take:
Another man of God, watch out for those lightning bolts dude. Ken Lay was a hero to this guy because he stole 9 Billion dollars from grandmothers who were struggling to pay there electric bills. Money that will never be returned, money lay probably spread around to get them to say all those nice things about him after he took off for the Caribbean. Republican rule number 1: Never tell the truth. Even if they know they are lying, and they know you know they are lying. Never ever tell the truth. And the Kool Aid drinkers just keep downing gallon after gallon.
