Joe Lieberman, the man who was kicked out of the democratic party for being a Bush kissing, war monger, is at it again, While the nation wants us to get of Iraq for a hundred different reasons, Crazy Joe now says we should attack Iran. Hey Joe, with what Army? the one that can’t win in Iraq is going to attack a country 3 times the size, I guess Joe wants us to bring back the draft as well. Of course Joe is only standing up for his favorite country Israel, to whom he owes his allegiance. Lieberman doesn’t give a damn about America or Americans. I guess 3,500 dead Americans soldiers in a debacle that never should have happened isn’t enough for Joe, He is shooting for 35,000. I’m betting he doesn’t have any kids, or relatives that will be going over there to die, or get maimed. Hey Joe, maybe it’s time to start thinking retirement. Oh and by the way I want to thank the people of Connecticut who voted for this fool for bringing him back for 6 more years.

Lieberman: U.S. should weigh Iran attack

WASHINGTON – Sen. Joseph Lieberman (news, bio, voting record) said Sunday the United States should consider a military strike against Iran because of Tehran’s involvement in Iraq.

“I think we’ve got to be prepared to take aggressive military action against the Iranians to stop them from killing Americans in Iraq,” Lieberman said. “And to me, that would include a strike over the border into Iran, where we have good evidence that they have a base at which they are training these people coming back into Iraq to kill our soldiers.”

Hey Joe, here’s a better way to stop them for killing our soldiers: Bring them home now.

There is a story out this morning that Colin Powell who apparently had finally decided to get his nose out of Bush’s Ass is calling for The Immediate Closing of Guantanamo Prison As of now 380 people are still being held without charges in the Bush’s Gulag at Guantanamo. The prison was documented in a movie that was out last year called The Road To Guantanamo. Sami al-Haj is a Sudanese journalist who just marked 5 years at Guantanamo, he is still reporting on what is going on there when he can, and confirms everything that was in the movie.

Haj – prisoner identification number 345 – is one of around 380 detainees still being held at the prison located at a US naval base located on the south-east coast of Cuba. Yet he is unique among the prisoners in that he is the only one who was seized and detained while working as a journalist. It was while working as a cameraman for the Al Jazeera network that Haj was seized by the Pakistani authorities as he was trying to enter Afghanistan in December 2001. He had a valid visa but that made no difference to either the Pakistanis who grabbed him or the Americans who held Haj without charge – first at Bagram Airbase and then at Guantanamo. The seventh of June marked the fifth anniversary of his imprisonment at that off-bounds, “Alice-in-Wonderland” jail in the Caribbean.

This whole situation is a disgrace. 5 years without being charged, being held on a rat infested in Cuba, all because Bush would make himself look even worse (is that still possible) if he let them go. Obviously they have nothing to charge them with or they would have by now. It’s all just a part of the legacy of the Worst President ever.

He was groggy, thirsty, and in terrible pain. His bowels and kidneys felt like they were about to explode. Faint bruises, some the size of a soldier’s fist, others the size of a military-issue combat boot, were already forming on Sergeant Juwan Johnson’s skin. A trickle of blood oozed from the corner of his mouth.

It was almost a miracle he was able to stand, some of the soldiers who were with him that night would later recall. They were amazed he still had the blue bandanna clutched tightly in his fist. Things had gotten out of hand.

Only a few guys were supposed to be beating him—maybe three or four, definitely no more than six. They were men Johnson knew and trusted, soldiers he had fought with in Iraq. The beating was only supposed to go on for a minute or so. After all, they weren’t trying to kill him. They were trying to make him one of their own.

Last week there was a story that the Army was forcing amputees back into battle, they are forcing people back in who have been out for years, they are doing everything they can to keep
soldiers to fight there vastly unpopular war in Iraq. The Military is now allowing Gangbangers in. (and they have to know that they are in gangs when they see all the tattoo’s )Now Joe Lieberman wants to attack Iran, how long until they are forced to bring back the draft?
