He says that according to the Supreme Court, the policy violates his religious rights. Walid Bin Attash, one of the alleged plotters of the 9/11 attacks, is currently facing a military tribunal. Cowboys Drop Michael Sam from Practice Squad
The Dallas Cowboys have waived defensive end Michael Sam from their practice squad and signed linebacker Troy Davis. Sam, the first openly gay player to be drafted by an NFL team, signed with the Cowboys on Sept. 3 after he was among the final cuts of the St. Louis Rams. “I want to thank the Jones family and the entire Cowboys organization for this opportunity, as well as my friends, family, teammates and fans for their support,” Sam wrote on Twitter.
