Top Obama aide to leave White House for 2012 re-election campaign
Another trusted aide to President Obama is moving from the White House to his re-election campaign.
Stephanie Cutter, who is the deputy senior adviser to the president, will leave her position at the end of the year and head to the campaign headquarters in Chicago, a campaign official confirmed Monday.

Senate leaders agreed to a deal Monday evening that is almost certain to avert a federal government shutdown, a prospect that had unexpectedly arisen when congressional leaders deadlocked over disaster relief funding.
