Chinese Author Proposes ‘Babe Tax’
Because there are 110 Chinese men for every 100 women, Chinese writer Luo Tianhao argues that his country’s “biggest strategic resource is not oil, not rare earths, not even pandas. It is young women.” Luo proposes a “babe tax” be paid when native women marry foreigners “to prevent the export of young, attractive women to other countries.”
