Bush and Chertoff Won’t Give Up on REAL ID, Until They Can Track Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime

Bush administration officials and some Republican senators remain undeterred by the mounting opposition among state governments to a national ID measure and are looking to companies and organizations that will benefit from the ID scheme to persuade opponents beyond the Beltway to back down.
Senator Susan Collins, a Republican of Maine, is the author of the latest effort to sell reluctant states on the REAL ID Act, the 2005 measure which would coerce states into issuing nationally standardized driver’s licenses and require them to enter information about their drivers in nationally accessible databases.
Despite Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff’s public insistence that the Act needs to be implemented rapidly, the administration, and Mr. Chertoff himself, appear happy to avoid an immediate confrontation with the states and to go along with Ms. Collins’ sales tactic. The Maine Senator introduced a bill, and pressed it as an amendment on the Senate floor, to extend the deadline for state compliance with the REAL ID Act, allowing companies in favor of the measure time to work in state capitols to calm the burgeoning rebellion.
Sen. Collins’ counter-rebellion role is laden with irony. The revolt, after all, started in her own New England state. In late January, George Smith, executive director of the Maine Sportsmen’s Alliance, stood to denounce the REAL ID Act at a community forum in Augusta. A Norman Rockwell painting come to life with the directness and accent of a lifelong Mainer, he said: “They had their Boston Tea Party. Let’s have a REAL ID Party!”
The next day, the Maine House and Senate passed a resolution to reject REAL ID by overwhelming margins.
Working with Sen. Collins, DHS has now moved the deadline for complying with REAL ID back more than a year and a half, from May 2008 to December 2009. DHS says it will start allocating Homeland Security Grant Program funds for REAL ID while implementation is delayed. That gives incentive to the ultimate recipients of the funds to start lobbying rebellious state lawmakers.

“I do (solemnly swear) (or affirm) that (I will) (faithfully execute) the office of President of the United States, (and will to the best of my ability), (preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.)”

Disloyalty applies to any violation of loyalty, whether to a person, a cause, or one’s country, and whether in thought or in deeds: to suspect disloyalty in a friend. (Perfidy implies deliberate breaking of faith or of one’s pledges and promises), on which others are relying.
Trespass: (A) an unlawful act causing injury to the person, property, or (rights of another), committed with force or violence, actual or implied.
(B) to encroach on a (person’s privacy), time, etc.; infringe (usually fol. by on or upon).
Synonyms 4, 5. Trespass, encroach, infringe, intrude imply overstepping boundaries and assuming possession of others’ property or crowding onto (the right of others). To trespass is to pass unlawfully within the boundaries of another’s property: Hunters trespass on a farmer’s fields. To encroach is to creep, gradually and often stealthily, upon territory, (rights), or privileges, so that a footing is imperceptibly established: The sea slowly encroached upon the land. To infringe is to break in upon or (invade rights), customs, or the like, by violating or disregarding them: to infringe upon a patent. To intrude is to thrust oneself into the presence of a person or into places or circumstances where one is not welcome: to intrude into a private conversation.
Injury: Law. any wrong or (violation of the rights), property, reputation, etc., of another for which legal action to recover damages may be made.
Treason: (A) the offense of acting to overthrow one’s government or to harm or kill its sovereignty.
(B) a violation of allegiance to one’s sovereignty or to one’s state.
(C) the betrayal of a trust or confidence; breach of faith; treachery.
Synonyms 1. Treason, sedition mean disloyalty or treachery to one’s country or its government. Treason is any attempt to overthrow the government or impair the well-being of a state to which one owes allegiance; the crime of giving aid or comfort to the enemies of one’s government. Sedition is any act, writing, speech, etc., directed unlawfully against state authority, the government, or (constitution), or calculated to bring it into contempt or to incite others to hostility, ill will or disaffection; it does not amount to treason and therefore is not a capital offense.
When President Bush signed the REAL ID Act, He broke his oath in accordance with Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution. He said “I do (solemnly swear) (or affirm) that (I will) (faithfully execute) the office of President of the United States, (and will to the best of my ability), (preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.)”

Our Constitution says: We have the right to be left alone without unwarranted intrusion by government, media, or other institutions or individuals.
The REAL ID ACT Kills that right!
Trespass: (A) an unlawful act causing injury to the person, property, or (rights of another), committed with force or violence, actual or implied.
(B) to encroach on a (person’s privacy), time, etc.; infringe (usually fol. by on or upon).
President Bush and other Representatives of this country are trespassing on our Constitutional rights!

President Bush and other Representatives are injuring this country by violation of the Constitutional Rights.

when President Bush broke his oath, he betrayed our trust and his promise to protect The Constitution Of The United States.
Because President Bush is pushing for a North American Union He is killing this country’s sovereignty.
