Newsweek Apologizes; Afghans Want Action

Excerpt: Muslims in Afghanistan gave Washington three days to offer a response to a Newsweek story that claimed the Islamic holy book was desecrated at the U.S. prison in Guantanamo Bay, but the magazine apologized Sunday for the report, which prompted deadly riots across Afghanistan last week.

H.L.s Take: Why is Newsweek apologizing if what they wrote is the truth. The story doesn't say its not true, Looks like Newsweek is apologizing for making Bush look bad. Is this another Rathergate? Thats what happens when you have appalling policies, People get appalled.

My predictions are correct. As for as strom thurmond goes doesn't even matter anymore. What about the dems Robert Byrd, he was a recruiter for the KKK back in his hay day but thats ok i guess by your standards and your fritz hollings, he was in the KKK too. Why don't you make a comic of Senator Obama from Chicago raising money for the former clansman ? Oh you don't have to because it is true ..also why would u insult people who work hard at piggy wiggys for a min wage. They are not stupid, maybe they didn't have wealthy parents like yours who bought them a computer and paid for their college and made it possible for you to sit on your ass all day when you should be looking for job to support your stupid acting career that will never go anywhere. OK Sid I did attack you a little and maybe I should not have done that, see we Liberals sometimes feel bad after we do something nasty, but Sid, When I see the way you write, and what you say, it leads me to believe that you are not the most knowledgeable person in the world about which you speak but here goes. True enough Sid, but I remind you, I am not a Democrat, so he is not my Fritz Hollings. You are right about Thurmond, that no longer matters, but what about Lott, who just a year or so ago, was spouting racist remarks? Byrd, and Hollings changed their ways when they realized they were wrong, how many Republicans do that?

Which Klansman is that? It doesn't matter. If its true its probably because Obama realized that like I said people change; Or maybe its for Political reasons, they are Politicians after all. I have done a few comics featuring Obama, If you look on the Comics page you will find a couple up near the top.

I merely implied that when you turn 16,(I have since found out that Sid is 38) that might be a place for you to look for a job. First jobs always suck, mine was in a factory

My parents were not wealthy, they did not buy me a computer, nor did they pay my way through College, I do however sit on my ass all day, at my job which is watching Television, I worked hard to get that job by the way, and yes they do pay good money, but its freelance, and the benefits are non-exsistant.
