Company's Work in Iraq Profited Bush's Uncle

WASHINGTON The Iraq war helped bring record earnings to St. Louis-based defense contractor Engineered Support Systems Inc., and new financial data show that the firm's war-related profits have trickled down to a familiar family name Bush. William H.T. "Bucky" Bush, uncle of the president and youngest brother of former President George H.W. Bush, cashed in ESSI stock options last month with a net value of nearly half a million dollars

Adventures with Hunter by Ralph Steadman

Ralph was Hunter's illustrator on "Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas" as well as many other stories.
by the way I didn't get a chance to tell my story about the time I met Hunter. It was back in '89, at a show he did in San Juan Capistrano Ca. Hunter was his usual hilarious Gonzo self during the show, afterward I got to talk to him for a few minutes about Football and Politics, he also signed my copy of "Generation of Swine" which had just come out. I still have it. If you saw the posting on the blog, someone has already postulated the theroy, that is was no suicide. It does seem strange that he would do it with his young grandson in the house. Then again maybe it was an accident. There was no note, so I guess we will never know.
