Newspapers losing ground to the Internet

Excerpt: Whither the competition between the mainstream media and the Internet? It sharpens. The big papers still rule the roost, but they hemorrhage readers and credibility, perhaps more than they know or understand. People move to the web, spend more time online, hold the usual media in decreasing regard. The bright and the young switch effortlessly.

H.L.s Take: Of course they are. After reading the news on the net, then buying a paper and reading the generic pablum the print is a joke. Newspapers, Television News, and even the Radio news are going into the toilet and its there own fault for being such lying whores. Not only that, have you ever read an online newspaper at 6 A.M., then at 2 AM that night, after an evening out having a few drinks you stop for a Burger and grab a paper, and see the same stories you read online 20 hours earlier, so you end up reading some lame story on page B26. Too slow.

Let Senator Boxer know that we want her to be that senator by signing our petition.
