Bill Maher: Corporate “Comic” and Shill for the Official 9/11 Fable
Another Day in The Empire
Excerpt
I’m not sure why I bothered to watch the video posted on Raw Story, as the outcome was wholly predictable. “Crazy people who still think the government brought down the Twin Towers in a controlled explosion have to stop pretending that I’m the one who’s being naive,” joked Bill Maher on HBO, the “vertically integrated” supposed “entertainment” corporation owned by Time Warner. “How big a lunatic do you have to be to watch two giant airliners packed with jet fuel slam into buildings on live TV, igniting a massive inferno that burned for two hours, and then think ‘Well, if you believe that was the cause…’ Stop asking me to raise this ridiculous topic on the show and start asking your doctor if Paxil is right for you.”
Of course, you likely need Paxil if you think kerosene fires are capable of melting steel and, more to the point, if you believe government will not kill its own citizens. History is replete with examples of the latter.
HL’s Take
I don’t get to see Bill Maher too often, but when I do I usually like what he has to say. I used to run into Bill a lot at The Rainbow Bar and Grille, here in Hollywood. He always had some hot women with him. But it is obvious that he is just another bought and paid for “liberal” when it comes to 9/11. Maher was fired from his first show soon after 9/11, now he is back as Bill Maher Lite. I find it hard to believe that a guy with Maher’s intelligence has not looked into 9/11 and realized the truth. He must be keeping his bosses happy (and those fat paychecks rolling in) on this one.

You liberal, conspiracy theory idiots are out of your mind! What is the problem with believing that crazy, jihadist terrorists can take down a building with 2 years of planning and training and boat loads of oil money? Instead, you chose to compile some half-brained, ignorant conspiracy theory that the government brought the towers down because you don’t like the president, or authority figures in general (and by the way I hate this president, but smart enough to not believe this BS). I’ve heard all of the the supposed “facts” concerning the government conspiracy and none hold water. I’ve read and heard statements from real experts ( ie. forensic structural engineers with 30 years of experience ) explain every factor leading to the collapse of the towers. And by the way, you don’t need to “melt” the steel to make the building fall. You just need to get to a sufficient temperature to affect the structural intregrity so it cannot support the weight of the upper floors. Please THINK before you come to a conclusion and don’t automatically believe knee-jerk reactionaries with too much time on their hands and not enough knowledge.

Maher is a Hollywood Jew whore master. He would never take a stand that would ruin his privileged lifestyle.

Jet fuel burns at 800° to 1500°F, not hot enough to melt steel (2750°F). However, experts agree that for the towers to collapse, their steel frames didn’t need to melt, they just had to lose some of their structural strength — and that required exposure to much less heat. “I have never seen melted steel in a building fire,” says retired New York deputy fire chief Vincent Dunn, author of The Collapse Of Burning Buildings: A Guide To Fireground Safety. “But I’ve seen a lot of twisted, warped, bent and sagging steel. What happens is that the steel tries to expand at both ends, but when it can no longer expand, it sags and the surrounding concrete cracks.”
“Steel loses about 50 percent of its strength at 1100°F,” notes senior engineer Farid Alfawak-hiri of the American Institute of Steel Construction. “And at 1800° it is probably at less than 10 percent.” NIST also believes that a great deal of the spray-on fireproofing insulation was likely knocked off the steel beams that were in the path of the crashing jets, leaving the metal more vulnerable to the heat.
But jet fuel wasn’t the only thing burning, notes Forman Williams, a professor of engineering at the University of California, San Diego, and one of seven structural engineers and fire experts that PM consulted. He says that while the jet fuel was the catalyst for the WTC fires, the resulting inferno was intensified by the combustible material inside the buildings, including rugs, curtains, furniture and paper. NIST reports that pockets of fire hit 1832°F.
“The jet fuel was the ignition source,” Williams tells PM. “It burned for maybe 10 minutes, and [the towers] were still standing in 10 minutes. It was the rest of the stuff burning afterward that was responsible for the heat transfer that eventually brought them down.”
