Clinton seeks new Iraq war vote

Hillary Rodham Clinton on Thursday sought to force another showdown with
President Bush — and her Democratic rivals — over the
Iraq war.
Sens. Clinton, D-N.Y., and Robert Byrd (news, bio, voting record), D-W.Va., announced they would introduce legislation that would require the president to seek a reauthorization from Congress to extend the military effort in Iraq beyond October 11, 2007.
“If the president will not bring himself to accept reality, it is time for Congress to bring reality to him,” Clinton said in a speech on the Senate floor.

She was privey to the same imformation, and got the run down. I dont see this vote having much success. It is stripping the president of his powers as commander and cheif. Unconstitutional to say the least. A veto pen got marked across the dems face. And now the crats’ are under pressure. They are having to compromise. So, I bet there will not be much support for a different way to surrender. The democrats like to present surrendering in different ways. Such is the party that would stand behind a lady that voted for the war but bitches about the war. One surrendacrat must look tougher than the orther surrendacrats but in the end they are all still just….well…..you guessed it……..surrendacrats.

Hey scramm! I have the sense enough to know the war on terror is broad in scope. Why do you call him a fascist? Do you support the democrats? I mean it when I ask. Why do you support those communists? As far as how smart I am. I will let you slide on that. Just stick with them democrat dill-doughs scramm. The terrorists love the democrats after all.
