(CBS/AP) The White House reaction to the Senate resolution opposing President Bush’s decision to send more troops to Iraq came from Vice President Dick Cheney. In a word, he was defiant, saying about the general idea of a resolution, “It won’t stop us.”
“We are moving forward. The Congress has control over the purse strings. They have the right, obviously, if they want, to cut off funding,” Cheney said Wednesday in an occasionally testy CNN interview.

Sounds to me like Cheney is throwing down the gauntlet to congress. When he says it “won’t stop us” who is he referring to? him, and Bush? Because they are just about the only 2 people who want this troop surge to go forward, of course they are the 2 people who stand to profit from it the most. Cheney is daring Congress to step up to the plate and act like they have a pair, of course he is betting they won’t cut funding for the war because he knows that Democrats are afraid of a fight. The Dems are thinking to themselves “oooh if we cut funding for the war people may say that we were responsible for losing the war and they might not vote for us next time” BULLSHIT. Everyone is against the troop surge, and a majority of the American people will support them for cutting off the funding. It may be the surest way to ride to victory once again in 2008. So come Democrats, show some balls and cut off they bastard monkeys funding. Q

All I hear from Biden, Feingold, and the orther terrorist sympathisers is that they support the troops! BULLSHIT!! And I mean lots of it! Nancy Pelosi claped her hands faster than a humming bird can flap its wings when Bush mentioned supporting the troops! It was an obvious failed attempt to to bullshit the American people into thinking that the democrats care about the troops and our national security! Im keeping track of the 1st hundred f**k ups of the new democratic led congress!! They are comming in rapid succession! Not paying the troops, not giving them money for medical supplies, and orther needs shows the true colors of the modern democratic party!

So ladies and gentleman, and disappointed libs, do you know what that means??
It means that the president has the constitutional authority to keep our forces where ever he damed well pleases! Capeesh??? Who gave him this power? The American people that is who! So, what makes more sense? The election results that put him into office?? Or the numbers that CNN bleeps across the presidential approval telepoll TV ratings T.V. screen?? Do Jack Cafferty, and Lou Dobbs, and Wolf run the country? They did not get elected Bush did!

Dream on moron. McCain can’t even stay awake while his heart throb is speaking. As for the
idiot in charge, his day is coming, and it won’t be pretty. So, you just keep on thinking that
