Imagine where Bush’s approval rating would be if the Democrats went after him as hard for killing thousands of people, as The Republicans went after Clinton for getting a BJ
One Graphic To Give Republicans Heartburn

For those of you who still maintain healthy relationships with Republicans and want to throw a good-natured jab in their direction, I have the prefect graphic for you. This is from a CBS News poll released yesterday and it compares George W. Bush’s latest, dismal approval rating with those of a couple of other presidents at the same time in their terms.
Ouch!
Now, I’m sure that given the fondness most right-wingers have for Bill Clinton, this won’t bother them much — not even the reality that, after all they tried to do to him, Clinton had a much higher approval rating than did their patron saint, Ronald Reagan, after seven years in office.
This must be a reflection of those horrible times during “the Clinton years” that delusional Republicans like to talk about.

Well if clinton had actually done something rather than worry about his ratings than he wouldn’t have had such a high rating but since that is all he was worried about than yeah his ratings are higher. But on the same note if Bill was such a great pres. and had such high ratings than why is it that Hillary is having such a hard time getting ratings. All you Libs should be going ape over her. She has the same views as good ole Bill.
That’s just it everyone has figured out that Bill was just worried about his rating not the country and they don’t want a repeat.
Here’s some history for ya. They started the approval rating in 1939 and guess who had the highest rating. A republican, Eisenhower. Now to burst your bubble HL Bush had a higher approval rating at reelection time than your buddy Clinton.

That is such a load of crap and you know it. If all Clinton cared about was ratings then he would not have had any. Besides whats wrong with caring about ratings? If you have high ratings that means the people like you so you must be doing something right. Look at Bush, he apparently does not care about ratings and is the biggest failure of all time. The two go hand in hand. I don’t see any source for this information that you put up here but if true and Bush Sr. had a higher rating at re-election then Clinton, then what happened? Bushs ratings went down becuase of lying about “Read my lips” (like father like son), he was also involved in BCCI, The savings and loan scandals, and Drug dealing with Noriega, (not to mention more war)
All Clinton did was get a blow job, his ratings went up after that becuase the people knew what the Republicans were doing to him was BS.

That 65% number did not mean crap did it H.L.? I like how Clinton’s actual votes were always lower than his T.V approval ratings! Bush always gets more votes than what the TV says his ratings are! hee hee hee hee TV ratings are bullshit show business!!
