Video: UCLA Student Brutally Tasered by Campus Security

A UCLA Student who was an American citizen of Iranian dissent was tasered repeatedly by security police. The student, Mostafa Tabatabainejad, was studying at the UCLA library, when security guards randomly came up to him and asked him to see his ID. What happened next is not entirely clear, but within minutes Tabatabainejad was on the floor screaming “I’ll Leave” as security hit him over and over again with thousands of volts of electricity causing him to scream out in pain. It was captured on a cell phone cam by one of the other students who were outraged at what they were witnessing. Security threatened to Taser anyone who tried to interfere with the relentless abuse. Keith Olbermann has the video, and an interview with a writer at The UCLA Daily Bruin, who wrote the original story.
H.L.s Take:
I would expect more from a school like UCLA, the chancellor of the University, as well as everyone involved in this incident, and anyone involved in the policy that allowed this to happen should be fired immediately. While we are on the subject of UCLA, get a real Football coach too.

This is a classic case of a set up to get publicity for the Mullah’s through thier agents, NIAC being one of them, watch other puppet organizations on Mulla’s payroll like IABA, NIPOC and IMAN to follow . I wouldnt be surprised if IAPAC , folks like Amirahmadi, Titra Parsi, Houghoghi and Babaie to jump on board. This is as free of advertising as it comes.
The campus police was wrong but they were lured into this by a very carefully planned conspiracy. Watch the details get investigated over the next few weeks. How come there was only one student recording? How come the recording did not start from the begining of the incident? Did you hear the student swear at the police? tell them f**k your patriot act? How come his attorney is a 2 time disbarred attorney who was the only attorney trown out of the Federal Court?
Things are never what they seem.

What is the difference between what happened at UCLA

What is the difference between what happened at UCLA and what happened in Nazi Germany when Jews were being attacked and persecuted, I’m outraged that this occured in a liberal institution and we must speak out against racial persecution of any kind. Even more disturbing is that so many people stood by and watched and did nothing! Just like in Germany in the 1930’s.

Anonymous, back up your claims. What sources do you have?
You try to link this to Iranians? How is that? Let’s say that the student were a jew, wouldn’t the ADL jump into it as well?

forget all that, here were people in control doing what they do best…..going after a defenseless person. b. spears didn’t get busted for indecent exposure for baring her backside in public the other night, paris didn’t go down for being a drunk driver or a pi when she up chucked after to much grey goose in a club this week.
there seems to be pattern going on…..

It says in a news report that witnesses STATE that the kid was leaving the library “with his backpack” when he was approached by an officer at the door who actually grabbed his arm. All he did was told him to “not touch” him as he was leaving (any balloon head would know the act of walking out of the door is leaving). I’d do the same, cops can’t be going around using physical force unneccessarily. He resisted the force and another officer approached him and we know the rest of the story. CLEARLY you can not argue that it was brutality. Even if a criminal is resisting the force, cops first try to talk him/her out before using a force…. and “talk” doesn’t mean repeatedly saying “stand up… stand up”… COMMUNICATION 101.
