Yesterday Fox News host Bill O’Reilly asked President Bush whether the “anti-Bush press” is responsible for the American public turning against the war in Iraq. Bush agreed with O’Reilly, stating that he’s “disappointed that people would propagandize to that effect because the stakes are too high for that kind of illogical behavior.”
Sixty-four percent of the American public now disapproves of Bush’s handling of the war in Iraq. These people are not “illogical” or victims of a propaganda campaign, but are responding to the facts.
Full transcript below:
O’REILLY: Is one of the reasons they’ve turned against the war in Iraq is that the anti-Bush press pounds day in and day out in newspapers, on the network news, in books like Bob Woodward’s, that you don’t know what you’re doing there. You have no have a strategy. You don’t listen to dissent. You’ve got this thing in your mind and you’re stubborn and you just can’t win it.
BUSH: Well, I’m disappointed that people would propagandize to that effect because the stakes are too high for that kind of illogical behavior. We have got a plan — first of all a stated goal.
H.L.s Take
Why are there so many members of the anti-Bush Press. Maybe it has to do with his resume.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
LAW ENFORCEMENT
I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of
alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver’s license suspended for 30

company, but couldn’t find any oil in Texas .. The company went bankrupt shortly
after I sold all my stock.
–I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using
taxpayer money.
–With the help of my father and our friends in the oil industry, including Enron
CEO Ken Lay, I was elected governor of Texas.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS
–I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies.
–During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in
America.

–With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my father’s appointments
to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.

Once again someone tried to post a big list of everything Clinton was ever accused of by the Kenneth Starr commission, which by the way spent $70 Million Dollars investigating Clinton and came up with NOTHING. Let me once again remind you that Clinton was never convicted of anything and was only impeached in the first place because the whiny assed republicans needed to get him on something. They just couldn’t stand how well things were going in the country. They figured if they didn’t find a way to mess things up soon, they would just die.
So forget it Out West, the list is not going up. A list that contains a lot of accusations, unlike Bush’s resume which is all factually verifiable.
Even if Clinton had ever been convicted of anything (which he wasn’t) I still wouldn’t put it up.
Clinton did not start a war based on a lie in which close to 3000 of our soldiers were killed.
Clinton never sent a man into battle that didn’t come home alive.
(The 18 in Somalia were on Bush Sr. watch)
Clinton didn’t preside over the biggest security breach in U.S. History either.
When Clinton was President, I had a good job, with benefits, & health insurance, which I no longer have.
One more time this site is dedicated to getting Republicans out of office because I think they are worse then Democrats. Democrats are far from perfect, but they are still 10 times better for this country then Bush and his cronies.

HL you sure you want to say that Clinton wasn’t convicted of anything? Well if you want to say that than that’s fine even though you are wrong and the whole world knows your wrong. That’s fine that is why you lost all the seats and that is why you wont get them back. Lets see if memory serves me right Clinton was found guilty of perjury, yup that’s what it was ans lets see if I remember he was disbarred from both the Supreme Court and State Court. But than he wasn’t convicted of anything right. He didn’t kill anyone? No he just put missles into an asprin factory that’s all any people that he killed there don’t count. And yet the Lib’s are the party for equal rights for everyone even those who aren’t US citizens. Oh and everything that I put up there was from Starr’s commission right like the truth about Clinton bring the US out of the deficit. Yeah that was from Starr’s commission. You know its real funny that what I posted wasn’t from Starr’s commission if you had read it it was all gathered AFTER Clinton LEFT OFFICE. Facts are facts and you don’t want to admit them that’s your problem. Your presidant was the worse one this country have had yet.As for your job I’d like to know just how it is that Bush cost you your job. Since the unemployment rate is lower than it has been and it is only .6% higher than Clinton’s lowest unemployment rate of 4%, but that is Bush’s fault to.Clinton’s highest was 7.3% and Bush’s was 6.3% and Bush cost you your job. Clinton’s lowest was 4.0% and Bush’s has been 3.8% and yet Bush is why you lost your job. Right Bush cost you your job. Lowest unemployment in 5 years and the country in a economic growth with wall street setting records for the last 9 weeks yeah that’s Bush’s fault. Grow up and get a life Bush doesn’t control your life you do so quit blamming other people for your bad luck.
Your right this is a lib web site and I see now why 65% of the country says that it is Con’s because the Lib’s want everyone else to do the work and than share their money with them. Well to bad I worked for what I have and I don’t have to give it to someone for sitting on their butt and do nothing. That’s the nice thing about owning my own business and not living in the N.E. I’m not required to pay taxes on my wages. So I’ll keep my 140,000 per year that I make and take care of my family unlike the Lib’s who want everyone else to do it for them.

You are the one who is 100% wrong West, and you better get your facts straight before you comment to this site again. I have no time to suffer fools like you.
This is from Bill Clintons entry in Wikidpedia
The Senate refused to convene to hold an impeachment trial before the end of the old term, so the trial was held over until the next Congress. Clinton was represented by Washington powerhouse law firm Williams & Connolly.
On February 12, the Senate concluded a 21-day trial with the vote on both counts falling short of the Constitutional requirement of a two-thirds majority to convict and remove an office holder. The final vote was generally along party lines, with all of the votes to convict being cast by Republicans. On the perjury charge 55 senators voted to acquit, including 10 Republicans, and 45 voted to convict; on the obstruction charge the Senate voted 50-50.[68] Clinton, like the only other president to be impeached, Andrew Johnson, served the remainder of his term.

Actually HL Clinton was charged with something while he was in office that is why he lost his Law Licence for 5 years and had to pay a $90,000 fine and can never be on the US Supreme Court.
Lets see contempt of court for purjury(willful failure to testify TRUTHFULLY). No he never was convicted for anything. Try again HL.
In April, 1999, about two months after being acquitted by the Senate, Clinton was cited by Federal District Judge Susan Webber Wright for civil contempt of court for his “willful failure” to obey her repeated orders to testify truthfully in the Paula Jones sexual harassment lawsuit. For this citation, Clinton was assessed a $90,000 fine, and the matter was referred to the Arkansas Supreme Court to see if disciplinary action would be appropriate.
In January 2001, on the day before leaving office, Clinton agreed to a five year suspension of his Arkansas law license as part of an agreement with the independent counsel to end the investigation. Based on this suspension, Clinton was also automatically suspended from the United States Supreme Court bar.

Out West, what a dork. Bitching about Clinton, who never killed 650,000 people is a little out of date. Try focusing on the present, you idiot. You rightwingers are too predictable. I’ve also noticed that you can’t spell either.

Bill Clinton is the one who helped Bush win the Governership of Texas. Ken Lay just gave campaign contributions to Bush like he did Ann Richards. Bill Clinton’s positions on missile defense, taxes, guns, affirmitive action, the UN, homosexuality the enviroment, national security and foreign policy swept George W. Bush easily into the governors seat! The republican success in Texas stems from the antiwar boooo hooooers also. Not Ken Lay!!!
