When the Wall St. Journal starts slamming Bush & Republicans, you know it must be true.
Wall Street Journal: GOP losing advantage over national security
Excerpt:
An article in today’s Wall Street Journal asserts that Republicans are losing their political advantage on issues of national security.
Based on poll data, Congressional race analyses, and a breakdown of recent speeches by prominent Republicans including President Bush, writer Jackie Calmes argues that the GOP monopoly on national security is in a palpable state of decline.
Among additional factors weakening the Republican platform this election year, Calmes writes, are unrest in Iraq, corruption, outlandish federal spending, and a growing distate for incumbents.
H.L.s Take
Everybody knows that Bush is bad for National Security, anyone who says otherwise is just lying to themselves and anyone else.

H.L. that is a miss. No cigar. You are lying to yourself. You are lying to yourself to the toon of yesterdays successfull missile defense test. I know you watch the news. I know you know missile defense works now. The arguement is over and I win. Credit George W. Bush for being prudent enough to deploy. I feel absolutly estatic. I am estatic because any candidate running against missile defense will look like they are willing for America to have some of its cities NUKED. Hillary, Russ, Kerry and a host of orther dems are willing for America to get nuked. That is just what it means. There is no ducking it ! That is half of the dems national security hemmoroid. I am going to say it loud all the time. Hell, I already convinced some of my non voting friends to vote in 04 just because I told them about democrats being totally and absolutly willing for the United States of America to have its cities destroyed by nuclear missiles! Its sticking. Im gonna hammer, and hammer, and hammer, and hammer. Hey H.l., Tom, LA, IMZ, Buzz, who was right on missile defense? Bush and his supporters. You can no longer win the presidentcy and be against national missile defense in this day and age. Come 08, if any one that reads here disagrees it will be serious wager time!

Where is the proof that missile defense works?/ Weren’t we working on this in the early 80s?? Didn’t protect us from 9/11. Wouldn’t protect us now with it or not. How quickly we forget that the arms race factored heavily into the downfall of the USSR because it couldn’t stomach the cost-yet we are willing to pour our money into it after decades of failure. You think the second we announce we have this (if and when that happens, which is not yet) that the other side doesn’t try to find ways around this? We could continue in an idiotic circle forever but it’s nothing more than false security and a band aid (and wonderful revenue for the war industry).
And it was a solid right-winger who was so into having SF nuked after it stated its anti-war posture, so I don’t know where you get the idea that dems are inviting it.

Buck, you’re full of lies, lies and more lies. Or maybe just ignorance, stupidiy and obfuscation.
One other thing, what the hell do you know about missile defense? So far, you’re very convincing of being nothing but a full of BS poster.
If you you’ve got something about missles that you’ve written, then publish it right now and post it here. The gig is over dude.

I Dont have to know about the science of missile defense. I know this. If we dont have one it leaves us vulnerable. If we are vulnerable it increases the likelyhood of an attack. Democrats would leave us vulnerable. Truth, some more truth, topped off with resounding truth…..Yeper!!!
