Video: Bill Clinton Calls Liebermans Iraq Stance The Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld-Position

This morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, former President Bill Clinton explained Sen. Joseph Lieberman& position on invading Iraq is the Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld position, and one that nearly all progressives disagree with. Clinton characterized the Lieberman position as: I want to attack Iraq whether or not they have weapons of mass destruction Watch it.

According to a recent World Public Opinion Poll, 71 percent of Americans said that the US should not have gone to war if Iraq did not have WMD, while just 27 percent said that the US should still have gone to war with Iraq for other reasons.

I said here after Bill campaigned for Lieberman that he did it not to help Lieberman, but to bury him. Lieberman will lose lots of Republican votes because Clinton made a speech for him. Now that Lieberman is no longer a democrat, Bill can really open up on him. One thing though. Bill could have called it the Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld-Hilary position. It has been said that Hilary won’t change her stance on the war now, because that would open up a firestorm of rightwing criticism, but if she waits until after she gets the nomination, then she can change her stand on Iraq…But will she get the nomination if she keeps up this Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld-Hilary position, we will have to wait and see.

H.L.! …Partner! She is GOING to get the nomination! Plain and simple! Everone knows her war vote was political! One war vote does not a national security protector make. She is and has been antiwar to the core. Even back to her wild college days. So she is against the Iraq war now. Hee hee, ha ha very funny very funny! That is a case of the John Kerry floparoo!! No matter the spin, a find is a find is a find! Im here to tell you. 500 old shells is a find. The problem that the dems have is that the old nemisis which causes them political ill is here again. Its not that they are weak dressers, because they dress fine. They dont have weak musical tastes because they listen to some of the best. As bad as their votes are their show up record is not weak. Hmmmmnn! Lets see here! What are they weak on?? Is it their bench press??? No, thats not it………wait ….I know. You know! Vladimir Putin knows! Osama Bin Laden knows! Hassan Nassarallah knows! Ehud Olmert damn sure knows. Amahdinijad knows! Saddam knows for sure! Everbody knows what the democrats are weak on. It has cost them. It is costing them. It will continue to cost them! weak, weak, cost, cost, weak weak!!!!

What you don’t seem to understand is that if we don’t give so many reasons to hate us, then we don’t need all the defense, and war. People only attack what they hate. If they didn’t hate this for stealing from them and killing them they would not want to attack us. Democrats are not as hell bent on war and destruction as Republicans. Therefore no need to spend half our budget to “Protect” ourselves.

Lets see. I call that jealousy. That generates the strongest hate. Are we sending mercs to rob banks or something? How the hell are we stealing from them? I am hell bent on living my American life style to the fullist as it was intended. Hate sure! The British hated that our fore fathers were not being taxed like they should and getting rich and living high on the hog. The ottoman empire hated that England and France were using up Europes resources. Hitler hated that France and England were protected by the United States. North Veitnam hated that the United States wanted to help South Veitnam be free. Same thing with the two Koreas! Now its the radical middle eastern nations like Iran and syria that hate the U.S. because of Israel. Those are all reasons that will not cut the musterd. They got no right to attack us. The cause of wars by my estimation is 5% religon, 5% jealousy, and 90% misperception. The misperception comes when all enemies of America no matter their origin amplify the no-fight war mood in America. I think its only 25 to 30 % or so that are hard core antiwar. With news and CNN and fox and the web. The imformation age makes our enemies think it is like 60 or 70%. Ever war America has ever fought has had this as the the main factor. Had they know the actual truth. That most Americans believe in kicking ass. They would not have attacked us. There would not have been war. That is what you dont understand.

Who do you have to give a reason to HL?? It is about us not being Muslim, it is about our laws and freedoms. The way we live our lives that make us the great satan.
Even if our policy were stellar, the radicals that hate us would still have reason. The muslim radicals we are against in this fight believe that there will be no heaven on earth until all the non belivers are gone, wiped off the face of the planet.
It has a lot less to do with policy then you would like to believe.
