Bill Maher has been in a feud with the 9/11 truthers. Maher who is a strong supporter of Israel claims to not believe that controlled explosions brought down The World Trade Center. He calls people who do believe (the truth) wackos. Here is another Ron Paul campaign ad. I guess Ron is spending some of the $5 Million he has received in campaign contributions.

Ron Paul, who we’ve been reporting on here at the HL for many months has suddenly been discovered by the mainstream. Why is that? Because he just raised $5 Million for his campaign. Now Paul is mentioned in the mainstream media. The Republican party now must figure out a way to do something about him, because they damn sure don’t want an anti-war candidate to get the nomination. Up until now Paul has been dismissed for his low numbers. But as we have shown here the lower tier candidates like Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel often not even on the list of candidates on these so called polls. but Money talks and BS walks and Ron Paul is getting money yo.

The Log Cabin Republicans, the non-hypocritical openly gay Republican group are upset with Mitt Romney who has come out being anti-abortion so that he could get the votes of the religious right. (you know, those guys that don’t matter no more) Romney was pro-choice before he was anti-choice, that makes him a flip-flopper and hyopcite. Hey he’s a Republican what did you expect. Here is the video of Romney in a debate with Ted Kennedy from 1994 where he proclaims the importance of being pro-choice.

Have you seen this new game show “The Power of 10″? Drew Carey hosts the show where the object is to guess what percentage of American’s answered a poll question a certain way. They ask a random sampling of people a question, and the player who comes closest to guessing how the people responded wins that round. Carey claims to be a former Marine, (I don’t see how with that body) and the show often asks questions that make them look like a bunch of Bush loving Yahoos (like the rest of the MSM.) To get a feel for who they are asking these question to, Here is one of the questions from the episode I watched: What percentage of American men said that they would still eat Hamburgers if they had to kill the cow and prepare the meat themselves. Now I’m figuring that the answer is going to be really low, like maybe 10%, but when they reveal the answer, a whopping 79% of men said they would kill cows to eat burgers. So I say to myself “where are they asking these questions, in a redneck bar with sawdust on the floor in the middle of W. Virginia?.”
A few minutes later the new question is “What percentage of Americans feel that we should stay in Iraq, and finish the job?” Oh great I think, this should be interesting. Now we know that at least 70 percent of Americans are against the war, but what did the voters at Power of 10 say to that question. Watch this and see.

You would think that a Senator who is running for re-election would take as much free TV face time as he could to get his message out to the voters. However, that is not the case with Pro-war Republicans who are running. They are refusing to go on MSNBC for interviews because they do not want to discuss the war that the overwhelming majority of Americans are against (see the post 2 up from this one to find out how high the actual number is. All Republicans care about is getting rich off war. It’s the only explanation.

The Bush administration lied about a fake terror threat they conjured up to get congress (who once again fell for Bush’s lies without question) to temporarliy expand Bush’s powers under FISA. Now Bush wants those powers expanded permanently. Of course Congress can’t wait to bend over for the madman one more time.

This is what happens when you have a bunch of yahoo mercenaries who are accountable to no one.

Too bad we don’t have more MSM reporters like Jack Cafferty, he actually tells it like it is. Bush is trying to bury in a bill an automatic pardon for any and all crimes committed. What crap. Check out the video

Russ Wittenberg was a United States Air Force fighter pilot, who became a civilian Captain with 30 years experience with Pan Am and United. Wittenberg flew 2 of the actual jets that crashed on 9/11. United’s flights 175, and 93. Wittenberg does not believe it is possible for amateures to pull off what the MSM and Bush alleges happened that day. I don’t believe it’s possible for… a so-called terrorist to train on a 172, then jump in a cockpit of a 757-767 class cockpit, and vertical navigate the aircraft, lateral navigate the aircraft, and fly the airplane at speeds exceeding it’s design limit speed by well over 100 knots, make high-speed high-banked turns,.. pulling probably 5, 6, 7 G’s… I couldn’t do it and I’m absolutely positive they couldn’t do it.”

John Kerry was doing a Q&A at an event in Florida, a guy starts asking questions about Kerry conceding the election he won, he then asks if Kerry is a member of Skull & Bones. At that point the cops grab him and mayhem ensues. Kerry says let me answer that, but the cops have different idea. What a country, the guy who gives the Presidency to Skull brother Bush is asked about it and is dragged away and tasered. I guess we have our answers to both questions.

This should come as no surprise to anyone, and therefore is not really news, but just in case you haven’t seen it. Here is the clip of Fox Censoring Sally Field as she accepts an Emmy award, as she speaks out against war. Fox cuts her off, and points the camera at the floor. Why would the Emmy’s even have it’s show on Fox in the first place. I guess they care more about money then integrity, what a surprise.

John Stewart and Stephen Colbert provided the funniest moments in Emmy history last night when they appeared on stage together in these two hilarious clips.

In the first one Stewart and Colbert present the award for the most important subject in the television universe. Best Reality Show. Classic.

The second one features Colbert with a leaf blower and Stewart questioning why we even have award shows. These guys are the best.

Keith’s show is the only political show besides “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report” worth watching, and the only reason at all to turn on the TV. (well except for Football of course)

Yesterday we looked at the campaign of the only Republican running who is not another Rudy McRomney clone. That is the candidacy of Ron Paul. I would love to see Paul get the Republican nomination. Today we are focusing on the guy I’d like to see beat Paul in the election. The Only candidate from either party who should be the next President. The Only democrat that voted consistently against the war, the only candidate that favors not for profit single payer health coverage. The Only candidate that wants to end Nafta, and WTO, the only candidate that is not afraid of impeaching Bush, and Cheney, the only candidate that is not bought and paid for by big corporations, and foreign Governments.
