Whats up. Well, I've been busy working on new things for the site. I am almost done with a new Image archive page, which will have every picture, grahic, and other images that have been on the site, so for you people who just like to look at the pictures, this page will be for you. Also I am still editing a new episode of HLTV, I am also making smaller clips of the previous HLTV segments for people who's computers, and/or connections are too slow to deal with the bigger clips. Come on people catch up. Ok now for some news stories.

Disgruntled Troops Complain to Rumsfeld

By ROBERT BURNS, AP Military Writer

I'm gonna keeel you He's safe at the plate

CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait - Disgruntled U.S. soldiers complained to Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld on Wednesday about the lack of armor for their vehicles and long deployments, drawing a blunt retort from the Pentagon (news - web sites) chief. You go to war with the Army you have," he said in a rare public airing of rank-and-file concerns among the troops. In his prepared remarks earlier, Rumsfeld had urged the troops mostly National Guard and Reserve soldiers to discount critics of the war in Iraq and to help "win the test of wills" with the insurgents. Some of soldiers, however, had criticisms of their own not of the war itself but of how it is being fought. Army Spc. Thomas Wilson, for example, of the 278th Regimental Combat Team that is comprised mainly of citizen soldiers of the Tennessee Army National Guard, asked Rumsfeld in a question-and-answer session why vehicle armor is still in short supply, nearly two years after the start of the war that ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein "Why do we soldiers have to dig through local landfills for pieces of scrap metal and compromised ballistic glass to uparmor our vehicles?" Wilson asked. A big cheer arose from the approximately 2,300 soldiers in the cavernous hangar who assembled to see and hear the secretary of defense. Rumsfeld hesitated and asked Wilson to repeat his question. "We do not have proper armored vehicles to carry with us north," Wilson said after asking again. Rumsfeld replied that troops should make the best of the conditions they face and said the Army was pushing manufacturers of vehicle armor to produce it as fast as humanly possible. And, the defense chief added, armor is not always a savior in the kind of combat U.S. troops face in Iraq, where the insurgents' weapon of choice is the roadside bomb, or improvised explosive device that has killed and maimed hundreds, if not thousands, of American troops since the summer of 2003. "You can have all the armor in the world on a tank and it can (still) be blown up," Rumsfeld said.

H.L.s Take: So why should we take money out of our pockets for expendable little grunts like you. Hey man. You signed up for this. You go out and die with what we give you and like it, you useless little peasants. What do you think? that we take half the money the federal government collects in taxes every year so we can buy you guys body armor, oh please. And, Oh yeah, don't believe anyone who tells you that that this a an unwinnble quagmire just get out there, and ask no questions.

Maybe this is why Kerry isn't challenging the election

Cause of Yushchenko's Illness Unclear

By SUSANNA LOOF, Associated Press Writer
VIENNA, Austria - A combination of poisons could have sparked the ailment that struck Ukrainian opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko during the campaign, but there's no conclusive evidence that he was poisoned, the director of the hospital that treated him said Wednesday. I knew I should't have drank that water during the debate Yushchenko, whose formerly smooth skin has turned pockmarked since he fell ill, has alleged that Ukrainian authorities poisoned him a charge they deny. Doctors are still running tests to try to determine what caused the illness, said Dr. Michael Zimpfer, the Rudolfinerhaus director. "We are meticulously investigating that, and we are running entirely new tests in different labs, but there is no evidence so far," he said. Doctors had only "a descriptive diagnosis" but no proof of what caused the illness, Zimpfer said, adding it could have had natural causes or have been sparked by a poison. "It might also have been a combination of poisons. Everything is in the air," he said. Zimpfer rejected as "entirely untrue" a story in Wednesday's edition of the London daily The Times, which quoted Dr. Nikolai Korpan the Rudolfinerhaus physician who oversaw Yushchenko's treatment as saying the Ukrainian candidate had been poisoned and the intention was to kill him...
