Koch Takes on Senator Over Iran Work
At a Senate Banking Committee hearing Thursday, Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) attacked U.S. companies that do business with Iran, singling out Koch Industries for doing business with the country using a foreign subsidiary despite U.S. sanctions. Koch Industries issued a statement that Tester has taken donations from General Electric and Honeywell, two companies with their own business relationships with Iran. “Koch Industries voluntarily decided several years ago to stop sales to Iran, which is the policy Senator Tester wants all U.S. companies to adopt,” the company claimed.
