Al-Jazeera: ‘Return Our Journalist’
Al-Jazeera journalist Dorothy Parvaz, 39, has gone missing after landing in Damascus on Friday to cover the events in Syria, the news agency says. Dozens of journalists are reported to have been detained by the Syrian government since the uprisings began in mid-March. —ARK Al-Jazeera: Dorothy Parvaz left Doha, Qatar, for Syria on Friday to help cover events currently taking place in the country. We are requesting full cooperation from the Syrian authorities to determine how she was processed at the airport and what her current location is.
