The NRA, Tennessee and Georgia is not pushing to allow concealed carry in bars! They are pushing to allow carry in restaurants that serve alcohol along with meals. As the laws stand it is illegal to carry into an establishment that serves alcohol in effect leaving CWP holders with the choice of not going out to eat or going defenseless. I do not wish to see it legal to carry into a bar or club where drinking is the main agenda and that language would need to be introduced into a bill.
