The attorney for former Bush Administration official Scott Bloch, who was charged with contempt of Congress yesterday in the “Geeks on Call” case, says he is pleased the “unnecessary five year inquiry is over.”

Former U.S. Special Counsel Scott Bloch, the Bush official who has been dogged by allegations of malfeasance for years, was charged today with criminal contempt of Congress in connection with his notorious use of Geeks On Call to scrub his computer while under investigation for politicizing his office, according to a court filing in federal court in Washington.
