Two New Polls Show Christie Expanding Lead
A new Quinnipiac poll shows New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine (D) trailing challenger Christopher Christie (R) by ten points, 47% to 37%, among likely voters, with independent Christopher Daggett running third with 9%.
The same poll in early August showed Christie leading by juts six points.
Meanwhile, a new Fairleigh Dickinson poll shows Christie leading Corzine by five points, 47% to 42% among likely voters. In this case, Daggett was not listed as one of the choices.
Last month’s FDU poll had Christie leading by juts four points.
