Boehner is wrong as usual.

But so was obama.

The stimulus has created jobs.

But it didn't hold unemployment to 8%.

It didn't produce the magic recovery obama wanted.

Now he + biden tell us they meant it to take a long time all along.

In other words they wanted to wait until the economy anyway recovered for it to recover.

Better obama than the repugs... But we needed an experienced dem like hillary.

Obama has the right vision - an america of equality and opportunity - but is doing an awful job of implementation. And in doing so he's giving all of us liberals a bad name.

We're getting hammered in nj + va polls - a blue + purple state.

Hillary for 2012.

All economies recover sooner or later with or without mega-stimuli. European economies are on the way up too.

The obama-stimulus had a clear goal: to prevent unemployment reaching 8%. That was precisely how it was sold to congress and to voters.

It was based on his oft articulated view that the fundamentals of the US economy were weak, and that we shoudn't wait for a recovery in the banking sector to lead our recovery.

In fact the first sector to recover has been the banking and finance sector. Credit has begun to trickle and slowly flow. Share prices are up. Optimism is up. Sooner or later businesses will get credit and jobs will start to flow.

That's the natural cycle.

Obama thought he could beat it and get jobs going through a central stimulus.

He was wrong.

He predicted clearly his test - 8% - and predicted government intervention could hold it to that.

He was wrong.
