OBAMA and HUCKABEE

OBAMA AND HUCKABEE
Populist Leaders of Change or Patented American Hucksters?
Or
Which looks more like Elmer Gantry?
Listening to the semi-folksy â ministerial delivery of Huckabeeâs acceptance of his Iowa win wasnât rousing as the network clucks declared. It was scary.
Listening to Obama wasnât rousing, it was far too similar to the rhythm and rhyme of the old Civil Rights moderates, somewhat mimicking of Martin Luther King, Jr., but the King of 1970, not 2008, nor the King who declared war on poverty and imperialism.
What we are hearing is that this duopoly party dominated country needs is a good ole candidate up from the common Joe and Joan â on the Right they pray for one embedded by Christian fundamentalism, war imperialism and reactionary faux capitalist politics. On the Left, with some racial integration tossed in, a fellow of color who speaks in the coded language of the African American pulpit.
The question is whether Huckabee is that Elmer Gantry of the political Right? Not if you read through his tax and pardon history. What Huckabee may be is a Republican insurgent that can pull enough of the practical evangelical vote and mix it with independents and moderately racist Democrats to become the next white, male President and all that means.
Do not be fooled by his pardons and his outreach to the poor. Down here the southern country Christian hallmark charity and forgiveness as part of their mission. At the other end is an expected level of servile gratitude: âYes, boss â thank you preacher â bless your Governor,â is the gratefulâs patent mantra.
With a Huckabee President what we can expect is a reversal of all the moderate gains made by women in their choice of contraception, a regressive social policy regarding constitutional rights, continued fear mongering that will drive the agenda of âHomeland Securityâ that will piggy back on a foreign policy that will continue the White Christian crusade against the world of color within and without our borders.
âGovernor Huckabee has pledged to support every item on the Radical Right’s wish list: a constitutional ban on abortion, a veto of legislation to protect gay and lesbian Americans from discrimination, support for a bill to keep federal courts from intervening when local officials violate the separation of church and state, and most importantly, a far-right Supreme Court.
When asked about what kind of justices Huckabee would appoint to the Supreme Court — something CNN predicts the next president could get to do three or more times — his answer was:
“I would want people who are in the spirit of Scalia. He’s probably my hero in the Court.”
Which is simply more of the same Nixon â Reagan â Bush â Bush and then worse.
Obama on the other hand, looking like a nice guy, is wedded to the American political system that has delivered the Hubert Humphreys, Bill Clintons and Joe Liebermans to us. The former two were not good enough in solving the crucial class, race and gender issues of this nation during their time, and Lieberman ⌠(are you kidding, Lieberman a âliberal?â) ⌠nor is Obama now expected to face-off against the corporate monster their parties are heir to.
But worse: his main campaign advisor, and who may well become part of his cabinet, is a man named Zbigniew Brzezinski, who worked in Carter’s administration, (whose administrationâs claim to fame is the Yankee corporatization of The South.)
In Brzezinski’s book, “The Grand Chessboard,” we see a corporate ideologue like Kissinger and like Dick Cheney–highly intelligent, but without an ounce of compassion in his body. In his book he describes U.S. strategy: American Imperialism and furthering and maintaining our Empire against the emerging hordes.
Obamaâs bankroll has the stamp of corporate America, (the same stamp on Hillaryâs millions.) You have to be idiotic not to understand the meaning of what millionaire attorney John Edwards means when he diagnoses that âcorporate greed has an iron clad hold on our government.â Just in case youâre having a dumber or dumber moment: That means who gets paid does what the payer pays for. Obama will deliver whatever his corporate owners pay him to do. Period!
So we come to that expected, very loudly shouted question: âWhat, another George Bush because the âleftâ is to pure to compromise?â
Aside from the fact that Ralph Nader DID NOT COST GORE THE ELECTION, there is no point in being a political progressive if in the end you enable the Corporate State Democrats to take âtheir turn at bat,â as Jerry Brown once called the game played every two â to â four years by the operatives of the American two-party, ruling class system.
Ah, yes, the electoral two-party ruling class hegemony. Itâs as if weâve all been struck dumb and dumber thinking that electoral politics is real âthe agent of changeâ in this country. As if in any country dominated by the Corporate State. But apparently the Bill Clinton version of âCamelotâ came not only to mean the explosive burst of âglobalizationâ it also brought about the death of radical politics in the US,
That then left us with the one Progressive agent of change in 2008, Dennis Kucinich. After the Des Moines Iowa Register blackballed him from the debate I emailed one of the chief campaign personnel,
âPretend I am a complete idiot and have someone tell me why Dennis Kucinich and every one of his supporters are not taking to the streets after what occurred in Iowa (or did not occur)…If this is the campaign plan for Kucinich…then we are all missing the point…or the campaign manager needs to be fired. Or K needs to quit.â
His reply: âYou want Dennis running around Des Moines ranting and raving like the dis-inherited bastard child? Or picket lines in front of the Des Moines Register? Or what?â
I donât know about the âwhat?â part — but he was fucking correct: I wanted to see this valiant âAmerican Heroâ (*) in the streets in front of the Register â in front of the Democratic National Party Headquarters, in front of AARP which barred him from their debate, challenging the other candidates on this basic abrogation of the First Amendment. And now I want them in front of ABC headquarters in LA and NY.
But that sadly is not going to happen. It is not the practice of the âKucinichâ progressives, perhaps not of the progressive body politic in toto. And in all kindness to Kucinich, who I have listened to throughout this campaign, his explanation on Moyers the other night was a stammering refusal to face the truth: It was at he could not explain that what at best a blunder â at worst, an indication that on some basic level Kucinich does not believe his own message. Perhaps he has spent far too many years in the Compromise ⌠uh, Congress.
As for the two Democratic Party âvoices of changeâ now being showcased by the same media, the Wunderkind Obama and the anti-corporate rebel Edwards, if you believe they will change the government of the United States, I have some sub-prime mortgage offers for you.
If you disagree at least strip yourself of your childish illusions about Obama and your gamble on Edwards and go out and work for Dame Hillary. You may at least get to meet the first âBlack Presidentâ who duped âhopefulâ African Americans and their white allies who prayed for âanybody but another Reagan or Bush,â and along with Fleetwood Mac, sang the anthem of the time: âDot.com greed and tooting cocaine is good. Let use Depleted Uranium Bombs and make movies in Hollywood.â
(*as Jennifer Lynne Ziemann and I dubbed him as a result of our feature length interview that appeared on this blog, The LA Free Press and Greenville, and South Carolinaâs The BEAT.)

Barack Hussein Obama will loose to Hillary and then she will loose in the general election. Just hop over to http: / / b l o g . m y s p a c e . c o m / 1 9 3 1 5 2 6 9 1 . To get the scoop. Yall come on over to the Texas Conservative!
January 5th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
why would we vote for Obama when he won’t evan place his hand over heart during the national anthem. That tells me he don’t give a rats ass bout us.
January 5th, 2008 at 7:31 pm
Have you ever heard anyone that was nothing but doom and gloom as bad as this post. If it is that bad than why don’t you just save yourself and put yourself out of your own suffering. And the Liberals wonder why no one wants to hear them. If someone was to read this who was from a different country they would laugh at you. You think this is bad vote Hitlery in and you will see bad. You talk about the Republicans taking away your rights. They haven’t taken anything away from you but let Hitlery in office and see just how many rights you lose.
January 5th, 2008 at 9:35 pm
What is wrong about “maintaining our Empire against the emerging hordes” ? I am for it.
January 6th, 2008 at 6:39 am
You talk about the Republicans taking away your rights. They havenât taken anything away from you but let Hitlery in office and see just how many rights you lose.
And you talk about how Hillary is going to take away your rights without a shred of proof. You’re even more of a rumor monger then those you criticize. How’s that hypocrisy working out for you?
I sure hope Nehemiah Scudder, er, Mike the Huckster, doesn’t get the nomination, either. But who cares? Republican’ts are going to lose, and lose big, in November, no matter who they run. It’s funny to watch you bedwetting chickenhawks start losing it when the logical outcome of your fluffing the religiously insane all these years comes back to bite you in the ass.

There are myriad reasons NOT to be a Republican - vote Republican - or respect Republicans. The four leading “commentators” above give you all the reason required. Aside from the misinformed, contorted, jingoistic point of view they proffer, the main issue is that they canât respond with facts, but with fear and race mongering and a delusional notion that what the Republican and Democratic parties represent is in those interests that would better the condition of the average American.
This is exactly the same self-serving, Mad Hatter crap that the Bush-Cheney rove cabal have used to gain and maintain power. What they mimic is Rovisms over and over again: thus, it the Great Lie becomes the only truth.
If there were a political National Inquirer these twits would be writing for it.
January 6th, 2008 at 12:39 pm
First, I think someone should get the League of Women Voters hosting alterative debates and YouTubing them over the www.
The Democrats may win in November, but it remains to be seen that it’s a good thing after the current Congress’ record. All I see is corporate Republicans and corporate Democrats.
January 6th, 2008 at 5:37 pm
To start with Tom you tell me who it is that said these phrases.
âWeâre going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.â
âItâs time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the Few, and for the fewâŚâŚ And to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity.
â(We) âŚcanât just let business as usual go on, and that means something Has to be taken away from some people.â
âWe have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own ⌠In order to create this common ground.â
âI certainly think the free-market has failed.â
âI think itâs time to send a clear message to what has become the most Profitable sector in (the) entire economy that they are being watched.’
(1) Statement was made by Hillary Clinton 6/29/2004
(2) Statement was m ade by Hillary Clinton 5/29/2007
(3) Statement was made by Hillary Clinton 6/4/2007
(4) Statement was made by Hillary Clinton 6/4/2007
(5) Statement was made by Hillary Clinton 6/4/2007
(6) Statement was made by Hillary Clinton 9/2/2005
These are all public statements Tom so kf you weren’t drinking so much of your Liberal cool aid than you wouldn’t need someone to explain these statements to you. But as normal you have no clue what you are talking about you are just following your liberal media and believing everything that they tell you. Keep right on drinking Tom and get ready to give them your whole paycheck and lose all your rights. If you can figure out how to do so research than maybe you can find out just who it is that has given us 90% of the welfare programs that are draining this country dry. Give you a hint it wasn’t the Republicans.
Now to Mikey if you are saying that I am good enough to write for the “political National Inquirer” than I guess that means that I am a better writter than you are because I can’t find you on anything other than a blog. And yet you are here because HL asked you.
As to you comment about “misinformed, contorted, jingoistic point of view they proffer, the main issue is that they canât respond with facts, but with fear and race mongering” The only people that I can see that are misinformed, contorted, unable to respond to facts, and using fear and race are people like you and other liberals. Fact the Liberal party has been using class envy to get what it wanted for years. IE Tax cuts are just for the rich.. They have you believing that the only people that get them are the Rich. And even when it is showen to them on paper that it is for them as well they don’t believe it. Fact the Liberal Democrat party has done nothing but raise taxes on the people of this country from day one. Fact the Liberal Dems are the ones that want to take your gun rights away. Fact the Liberal Dems would love to get rid of people Like Rush Limbaugh and others because they tell people just exactly what it is that they are doing or trying to do. Pretty sad when 41 Democrats sign a paper wanting a company to fire a civilian. Talk about over stepping the bounds. Fact if Dennis Kucinich is what the people of this country really wanted than why is he quiting and why is it that he can’t raise any money. If he is what so many people wanted than the rest of the Dems should never have been able to raise anywhere near the money that he should have. Since he doesn’t have the money nor the votes and his only “proof” that he is the peoples choice are straw polls, which covers all people not just voting people which is what matters because people that don’t vote don’t have a say in the outcome.
As to your “Facts” Mikey I haven’t seen a thing on any of your posts that have had any facts to them. They are all your point of view and that I am sorry to say is not fact. Keep up with liberal views and keep hoping that your hippy ways will some day come true.
Sorry to say that they wont. And as to the well being of this country. If more people thought like they did in the 50’s we would be in the crap that we are in now. But most of you are only worried about what the government can do for you and that is it.
January 6th, 2008 at 7:48 pm
Tom you know what the real hypocrisy is. You call us “bedwetting chickenhawks, religiously insane, and other things and yet we haven’t called you anything yet. Other than telling you you are drinking the Liberal cool aid and not looking at the truth. There is a reason why Hitlery is number one in the polls any more. So take a clue.
January 6th, 2008 at 8:14 pm
what i find funny is that i talk to around 100+ people a day, every day, all across the country and so far i’ve found no one who supports the dems at all, and said they will vote repub just to keep Obama or Cintoon out of office, so from my veiw ( not that any one cares bout my view right?) the dems don’t have a prayer of getting the “common man” to vote dem. in fact they are driving them away. looks like the dems are the repubs best friend doesn’t it? just remember there is a hell-of-lot more of us common folks than there ever will be of you city slickers
January 6th, 2008 at 8:52 pm
Hear is something for you Libs to chew on. The 11 best rated Presidents in the USA.
1. George Washington
2. Abraham Lincoln
3. Fraklin Roosevelt
4. Thomas Jefferson
5. Theodore Roosevelt
6. Andrew Jackson
7. Harry Truman
8. Ronald Reagan
9. Dwight Eisenhower
10. James Polk
11. Woodrow Wilson
And to add to the list George H. Bush is listed as 21st and good ole Slick Willie Clinton is listed and 24th and your beloved Jimmy (the peanut head) Carter is 30th out of 39.
Oh and of the 11, 7 othe them were Republicans. Go figure
January 7th, 2008 at 9:01 am
Bill, Bill, Bill, How many times have I told you about coming on this site and spreading outright lies. Do you think anyone reading this is stupid enough to believe a liar like you. In the past I told you that I did not want to waste my time disproving your lies. So I banned you, after a while you start talking semi-reasonably so I let you back on only to have the blatant lies start again.
Then you try to post saying that I am the liar. Ok let me disprove your lies one more time before I ban your ass again.
Source:
http://www.apples4theteacher.com/holidays/presidents-day/political-parties.html
1. George Washington Federalist Party
2. Abraham Lincoln Republican
3. Franklin Roosevelt Democrat
4. Thomas Jefferson Demcoratic-Republican (not the same as Republican)
5. Theodore Roosevelt Republican
6. Andrew Jackson Democrat
7. Harry Truman Democrat
8. Ronald Reagan Republican
9. Dwight Eisenhower Republican
10. James Polk Democrat
11. Woodrow Wilson Democrat
In the first place, as usual you did not site where you got your info. Is this a Fox news poll? In the second place having Reagan, and Eisenhower, in the top 11 is a joke, they were actually among the WORST presidents of all time especially Reagan. And the Republican party of Lincoln was pretty much the opposite of what it is now. But even accounting for the error of including Reagan and Eisenhower, lets count up the totals
I see….only 4 Republicans on the list, and not the 7 that you claim. Oh and by the way there are 5 Democrats on the list.
Hey Bill..you’re outta here, for good this time so don’t bother coming back you lying sack of S**T
January 7th, 2008 at 2:31 pm

You think this is bad vote Hitlery in and you will see bad. You talk about the Republicans taking away your rights. They havenât taken anything away from you but let Hitlery in office and see just how many rights you lose.
There are no facts to respond to here. Just rumor and innuendo. And Republican’t lies.
Did you commune with Pat Robertson and gawd to come up with those ‘facts’?
How many rights did I have to attend a Dunsel In Chief town hall meeting? I wouldn’t even be let into the door. Of a government paid-for ‘public’ town hall meeting. People have even been illegally put into jail for trying to use this right. Because they were wearing a button supporting a Democratic politician.
But of course a Republican’t fluffer like you could just waltz right in - so as far as you’re concerned I haven’t lost any rights.
This is what passes for ‘logic’ among Republican’ts. Nice try, troll-boy…

This woman should run for president
Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like it! This is one
ticked off lady.
‘Are we fighting a war on terror or aren’t we? Was it or was it not
started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11,
2001?
Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally
murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our
nation’s capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?
Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible,
burning or crushing death that day, or didn’t they?
And I’m suppose d to care that a copy of the Koran was ‘desecrated’
when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?…Well, I
don’t. I don’t care at all.
I’ll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents
for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
I’ll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start
caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in
Saudi Arabia
I’ll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking
off Nick Berg’s head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed
throat.
I’ll care when the cowardly so-called ‘insurgents’ in Iraq come out
and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in
mosques.
I’ll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search
of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide
bombs.
I’ll care when the American media stops pretending that their First
Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of
the United States Constitution’s Bill of Rights.
In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up
an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don’t care.
When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have
been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured:
I don’t care.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told
not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank:
I don’t care.
When I hear that a p risoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat,
and fed ’special’ food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining
that his holy book is being ‘mishandled,’ you can absolutely believe in your
heart of hearts: I don’t care.
And oh, by the way, I’ve noticed that sometimes it’s spelled ‘Koran’
and other times ‘Quran.’ Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don’t
care !!
If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail
friends. Sooner or later, it’ll get to the people responsible for this
ridiculous behavior!
If you don’t agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should
you choose the latter, then please don’t complain when more atrocities
committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I
add:
‘Some people spend an entire lifetime wonderi ng if they made a
difference in the world. But, the Marines don’t have that problem.’ —
Ronald Reagan
I have another quote that I would like to add AND…….I hope you
forward all this.
‘If we ever forget that we’re One Nation Under God, then we will be a
nation gone under.’ Also by.. Ronald Reagan
One last thought for the day:
In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the Anti-American
sentiment and negativity, we should remember England ’s Prime Minister Tony
Blair’s words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament
members why he believes so much in America, he said: ‘A simple way to take
measure of a country is to look at how many want in… And how many want
out.’
Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you :
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET BOTH OF THEM.
AMEN!
January 8th, 2008 at 2:22 pm
anon- will have agree 100% with your post
HL bill was not lieing about the presidents nor was he wrong about the comments made by hilary
i have been reading them for months and the funny thing is they are from the AP and CNN
the info he put up on the presidents is from the Wall Street jurn. 2005 it’s not hard to find i found that a year ago when helping my nephue with a high school report. if a red neck could find this i’ld think some one as smart and perfect as you should beable to find it after ll you are the smartest man alive and make no mistakes right??
January 8th, 2008 at 4:11 pm
What the hell are you talking about? I wasnt’ “looking” for anything. I saw that BS that Bill posted, and called him on it. I found the first webpage that came up with the correct info, so liar Bill could not accuse me of lying; of course he did anyway. Bill is a born liar, he used to come on here all the time and spread outright lies, thinking the readers of this site were too stupid to know he was lying. Then when I PROVED he was lying he accused ME of lying.
I don’t have time to go around disproving a de facto liar, so I won’t put up his stuff anymore.
I never said the Hillary comments were lies. Why can’t you people read, and comprehend what I say, are you retarded?
Oh and by the way it’s lying, not lieing, and nephew, not nephue. You would think that someone as obviously politically astute and educated as you would not be making these 3rd grade mistakes.
January 8th, 2008 at 7:10 pm
are we back to attacking ones spelling again?
i’m not perfect nor do try to be. spelling has never been my strong point but i try. sorry if a mess up from time to time.
any way Bill did not lie he simply posted what he found which is the same info i found although his varied a little from mine it was not far enough off to get all bent over it. Reagan and Eisenhower have showen up in the top ten.
no two polls are the same they all very you know this
also he never siad you a lied about the hilary comments.
also why are you not letting me post have me offended thow in some way. i’ve tried to be a good boy on here other than a gental joke now and than
January 9th, 2008 at 6:17 am
OK let me break this down for you GW, my point about Reagan and Eisenhower not belonging in the top 10 was a side note. What I was talking about was the party affiliation of each. Bill lied that there were 7 Republicans when if fact there were only 4. About the spelling, I don’t have so much of a problem with it, but if you are going to come on here claiming to know all about politics you would make a much better argument if the post didn’t look like it was written by a grade school dropout.
I mean think about it, if you are on here trying to convert College educated liberals to conservatism, do you really think they will take you seriously when they see the writing.
Why not write the post in Word, use the spell check, and then copy and past onto the post?
Hey I make mistakes too, but at least I try to make a reasonable attempt at literacy, that’s all I’m saying.
HL
January 9th, 2008 at 9:32 am
no HL i don’t even pretend to know much of any thing bout politics ( but thanks to you Iâm starting to learn)- how ever i would not try to change your way of life. like your kind is doing to me. all i want to do is live out my life in freedom and not depend on goverment programs to do so. i want to earn what i get and not have to give it all to the goverment like the dems would have me do (and some Repubs also)
here are my views in a nut shell - - i don’t believe in abortion, i believe in capital punishment( we need to let the criminal know the rules plain and simple). i don’t believe in gay marrage. i believe we should lock down our boarders. We need to get rid of our racist welfare programs, and those on welfare sould do some kind of service to earn what they get( if they are able to work) think bout it we’ld have a lot cleaner country side or what ever, I’m tired of haveing to pay for these dead beats. when it comes to Iraq i believe we just need to cut our boys loose and let them finish it or just get the hell out and let them kill each other off and save us the trouble
i am also tired of just a few states dictating how the rest of should live . Take New York for exsample what do they know bout life in Montana? nothing yet they try to tell them how to live by implicating all these federal regulations I donât see how that is fair. And I canât leave out Cali with this anti idle bull crap. If you have a dog on the truck with you , you can idle but if not you canât, they donât give a rats ass for about the driversâ health, you can go home to air condition and heat these drivers canât and when the sun comes through the windshield it can reach temps of 130 degs in side the truck . Can you sleep in that ?
When it comes right down to it you all like our milk and honey but yet you bicth about our way of life. What gives?? Weather or not you know it you need us.
I would not convert any of you to my ways yaâll could not live in my world
Bill was mistaken on the numbers because both the federalist and the repubs share the same beliefs so they are one and the same except in name and Tomas Jefferson leaned more to the republican view so in a sense bill was right, it just depends on how you see it
January 9th, 2008 at 4:21 pm
Ghost Walker Says:
January 8th, 2008 at 7:10 pm
are we back to attacking ones spelling again?
As opposed to attacking the imagined result of a ‘Hitlery’ win?
January 10th, 2008 at 1:54 pm
GW says “no HL i donât even pretend to know much of any thing bout politics ( but thanks to you Iâm starting to learn)- how ever i would not try to change your way of life. like your kind is doing to me. all i want to do is live out my life in freedom and not depend on goverment programs to do so. ”
For someone not trying to convert anyone you sure spout a lot of opinion on here. And if a Hurricane, ever came along and destroyed your house, and car, and made it impossible to do your job, you would not want any help from the government despite all the taxed you have paid. No you will just find a new job, and build a new house and buy a new car with you own money. Right?
January 10th, 2008 at 5:36 pm
Tom - sheck this out and you’ll see what we’ve been saying http://rakesprogress.files.wordpress.com/2007/08/hillaryclintonthesis.pdf
HL yes i have already rebuilt several times the idea doesn’t scare me at all it only scares those who are scared of a little hard work and want people to feel sorry for them
January 10th, 2008 at 6:53 pm
HL I have read bios on George Washington and Jefferson and from what I have gathered from the bios they did lean towards the republican side of things. They didn’t believe in big government and they thought that the people should be responsible for themselves and that the governement should do as little as possible.
I think that that is one problem we have is that to many people have to opinion that the government should help me.
If you remember JFK said “Ask not what your government can do for you. Ask what you can do for your government.” And people say that he was a great Presidant. If that is the case than why are people asking the government for help.
I read your post to GW about what would he do if a Hurricane hit him and I would have to say now people would be screaming to the government for help. But it used to be that people used to help each other out and they didn’t ask the government which is the way it should be.
People want this and that from the government and that is why we pay more taxes but every time the government gets involved in another welfare program and says they can do it better they just make it worse.
We have all seen this and yet people still think that the government can do it better. How far in the hole do they have to get us with their programs that don’t work before we finally say no more. I am not for a national health care program no matter what they say becasue they will do nothing to help the problem they will make it worse. The way it is looking though people aren ‘t going to figure this out until it is to later. I am greatly sorry for that.
I have seen posts on here that say we need to support Dennis Kucinich but he is another person that wants to start they program or that. I don’t want to give any more of my paycheck to the government so I will not support him. I dono’t want anyone that wants to start another program for this or that I don’t care what it is. Until they can get it right than I will vote no to all of them.
