The Democrats who enable Bush

Excerpt
WASHINGTON — President Bush has no better friends than the spineless Democratic congressional leadership and the party’s leading presidential candidates when it comes to his failing Iraq policy.
Those Democrats seem to have forgotten that the American people want U.S. troops out of Iraq, especially since Bush still cannot give a credible reason for attacking Iraq after nearly five years of war.
Last week at a debate in Hanover, N.H., the leading Democratic presidential candidates sang from the same songbook: Sens. Hillary Clinton of New York, and Barack Obama of Illinois and former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards refused to promise to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq by 2013, at the end of the first term of their hypothetical presidencies. Can you believe it?
When the question was put to Clinton, she reverted to her usual cautious equivocation, saying: “It is very difficult to know what we’re going to be inheriting.”
Obama dodged, too: “I think it would be irresponsible” to say what he would do as president.
HL’s Take:
C’mon Barack, that sounds like something Bush would say. I applaud Obama for removing his American flag lapel pin, because as he explained, “it’s a symbol of false patriotism” but Obama needs to get aboard the straight talk express as it were.

Obama is another Democrat that is toothless and controlled by foreign handlers. Democrats can keep their head in the sand and pretend that everything is good when it’s not. Obama will not change anything. In fact, he may make things worse because he is so eager to please. That fact that he won’t commit on removing US troops from Iraq speaks volumes about his true intentions. He’s a loser.

I agree with you in everything you said Anonymous except for one thing: I don’t think that it’s FOREIGN handlers who control Obama (and Hillary, and Edwards etc.) but rather the establishment in this country. The Democrats serve big business, just like the Repubicans they claim to oppose. They’re both playing for the same team, the bourgeoisie. Other than that, you’re right. That’s why their corporate-owned mainstream media don’t give any publicity to Dennis Kucinich, as he’s the only one of the Dems who actually wants to CHANGE things. They anoint the establishment candidates like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama who they know will do everything they can to preserve the status quo.
The system doesn’t need reforming, it is like a delapidated building that should have been condemned by the Health Dept. a long time ago and demolished. We need to start over.
