“There’s a lot of money involved and all of a sudden a growing percentage of people get their information from a very different set of sources,” said Dodd. “One of my theories about O’Reilly… Something tells me, you scare the hell out of these guys….
“You’re a threat to institutions like Fox and Newscorp and others.”

Blog readership keeps going up, while Television news viewership keeps going down. Keep up the whoring ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox. Pretty soon you will be so irrevelant, that all your advertisement money will dry up and you will all be fired.

It’s not difficult to figure this one out. The establishment media is there to protect its interests and the politicians that favor it. Blogs aren’t normally controlled assets of the media and still seek and report the truth. That’s not to say all blogs are truthful, but if you seek the starting place, blogs give you a better idea of what the current global pulse is.
