I'm as paranoid as the next guy, and I really don't see it this way, and this over-reaction will only serve to paint war opponents as exactly what the right-wing wants them to be. You're handing talking points to the noise machine. Calm down, will yah? You want to talk about something, talk about all the protesters (and standers-by) rounded up for the SUSPICION of MAYBE causing violence at the Republican Convention in Manhattan during the last "election." That alone should be enough. That kind of coercion is worse than outright banning, because, like when you deal with a bully, it's all about the bully blaming YOU for getting beaten. There can be no evidence of plotting, or that falls apart. And, nagging in the back of my head is the persistent idea that you're really part of the right-wing noise machine and trying to discredit any dissent. See? Told you I have paranoia cred. Um.
