Well now HL what part of Jim's post was bullshit.
You mean to tell me that the BLUE state doesn't have a problem with illegal's sucking their welfare programs dry. I could have sworn that the Terminator just reformed the welfare programs to not be in favor of illegals.
Oh and the states don't pay into the tax system HL the people do. Just to let you know were your wrong there again. And yes Ca., and N.Y. would be in the top ten because they have more people in them that other states do. So YOUR logic is flawed.
And if you do a little looking the only reason Ca. is blue is because of S.F., L.A., and San Diego. The northern part of Ca. is Red. Just like Or. it is the big citys that are blue not the country.

Jim you are soooo full of shit it is ridiculous.

A) The laws for someone breaking in your house have nothing to do with immigration.
B) You do not have to let someone stay in your house because they break in, just as there is no law that says we have to let illegal immigrants stay here. Blame law enforcement for not doing thier jobs (as usual)
C) No one is making you learn their language
D) You will not be picketed since your breaking in to the house analogy is completly moot.

You must be a republican, probably from a red state.
The top 10 states that pay the most into the tax systems are blue states like California and New York (they also recieve the least on average) The top 10 states that take from the system are red states. (they also recieve the most on average) So by your logic you republicans have broken into our house and are a bunch of charity cases.

Pretty stupid logic isn't it. But not as stupid as yours.
Stop passing those freeper emails around and have an original thought.

Let's say I break into your house

A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials
in ages!!! It explains things better than all
the baloney you hear on TV.

Her point:

Recently large demonstrations have taken place
across the country protesting the fact that Congress
is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that
the US might protect its own
borders, might make it harder
to sneak into this country and,
once here, to stay indefinitely.

Let me see if I correctly understand
the thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house.
Let's say that when you discover
me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, "I've made all
the beds and washed the
dishes and did the laundry
and swept the floors. I've
done all the things you don't
like to do. I'm hard-working
and honest
(except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters:

You are Required to let me stay in your house
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family

(my husband will do all of your yard work because
he is also hard-working and honest, except for that
breaking in part).

If you try to call the police or force me out,
I will call my friends who will picket your
house carrying signs that proclaim my
RIGHT to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have
a nicer house than I do, and I'm just
trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working
and honest, person, except for well,
you know, I did break into your house

And what a deal it is for me!!!

I live in your house, contributing only a
fraction of the cost of my keep, and
there is nothing you can do about it
without being accused of cold,
uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and
bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you to learn
MY LANGUAGE!!! so you can
communicate with me.

Why can't people see how ridiculous
this is?! Only in America .
if you agree, pass it on (in English).
Share it if you see the value of it.

If not blow it off.........
along with your future Social Security
funds, and a lot of other things.

That's "RIGHT" HL! George Bush is dead Wrong, wrong wrong on immigration and about half of his fiscal policies, Iraq, Pakistan,Darfur and a host of other topics as well. I AM a conservative, and I would never vote for GW again. But I certainly had no choice in '04. O'Reilly was on the money when he pointed out that a three time offender who is here illegally anyway is a symptom of a much larger problem. Geraldo spewed some really easily refutable nonsense "statistics" that I'm surprised Bill didn't ram back down his throat, but then he probably gets his statistics from "Al Capone's Secret Vault". As for the ratio of illegals in prisons, take a look at the real statistics.

"Illegal aliens are NOT necessarily coming here to work. Lou Dobbs recently reported that 33 percent of our prison population is now comprised of non-citizens. Plus, 36 to 42 percent of illegal aliens are on welfare. So, for a good proportion of these people, the American dream is crime and welfare, not coming here to work. "

Well that would make George W. Bush a moderate or Liberal Conservative. Bush claims he wants to have guest worker programs and wants immigration reform. Being that Bush is anything but a liberal or moderate that makes your argument not very effective.

Vis A Vis.
I bet if you dig you will find that the "right" that is against border control are the ones that call themselves "moderate or liberal" conservatives. Which makes the key word "moderate or liberal".

I never said anything about his mother. What I said was if people had done their job and sent him back like they were supposed to than he wouldn't have been there to kill those girls.
To say that by that logic it is his mothers fault for having him is just like a Liberal. His mother didn't force him to come into this country illegally and neither did anyone in this country. There is a system in place and has been for many years that allow people to come into this coutry legally and he decided not to do it. That in itself makes him a criminal and he should have been deported back to Mexico.

I have to agree with O’Reilly on this one. If the officals had do their job the way it was suppose to be done than he shouldn't have been in theis country to do this crime. Geraldo is the one who is tring to make this a lesser crime and tring to blame the US for saducing them here. The American dream has been the dream for alot of Immigrats and a good number of them do it the legal way. This guy broke the law by comming here illegaly and should have been sent back. If the major and the INS had done their job properly than this would have been avoided.
To try and blame the US for enticing people to come to the US is a cop out and O'Reilly wouldn't let Geraldo try to us it and that is what made Geraldo mad. Geraldo wants to try and pin this on the government and yet I haven't heard him raising hell about this before. He wasn't blaming the Clinton admin or Bush 41 or Regan but his is trying to blame Bush 43. That is lame.
You want some scary fact HL? since you are all for letting them come here illegal or not, here.
To give you an idea of "how much crime," as noted in Illegal Alien Crime Wave in Full Swing, in April 2005, the GAO released a report on a study of 55,322 illegal aliens incarcerated in federal, state, and local facilities during 2003. It found the following:

Of the 55,322 illegal aliens studied, researchers found that they were arrested a total of 459,614 times, averaging about 8 arrests per illegal alien.

They were arrested for a total of about 700,000 criminal offenses, averaging about 13 offenses per illegal alien.
49% had previously been convicted of a felony, 20% of a drug offense; 18% a violent offense, and 11%, other felony offenses.
81% of the arrests occurred after 1990
56% of those charged with a reentry offense had previously been convicted on at least 5 prior occasions.
Defendants charged with unlawful reentry had the most extensive criminal histories. 90% had been previously arrested. Of those with a prior arrest, 50% had been arrested for violent or drug-related felonies.
And this is just 55,322 illegals so guess what the numbers are of the ones that are still out there. And you say they are needed. oh my source is www usillegalaliens.com/impacts_of_illegal_immigration_crime.html
Keep voting for them Democrats HL
