   I’m a conservative who likes to listen to other opinions. It helps me see if I’m missing something important, which could easily happen if I listen only to people who already believe as I do. With totally uninformed and inaccurate websites like this, I feel that I haven’t missed a thing. A sad truth of your misinformation is that you probably believe some of this exaggerated hogwash, but sadder still is that there are people who will read this stuff and think you are reporting from an informed view and will just believe this junk without thinking for themselves.

   For your information (if you will choose to listen), we had a right to go into Iraq, with or without WMDs being there – check the conditions of the 1991 surrender that Saddam signed. We needed to depose Saddam for the same reason that Europe should have stopped Hitler, but didn’t. We cannot leave until Iraq can govern itself or we will have made things worse. You may not agree that we should have gone in, but that decision is made. You must consider what to do from here.

   If you want to cut and run, what do you plan to do then? Iraq will either become a hotbed of Al Qaeda trainees or will become another state inside of Iran, a place where things REALLY are evil, the way you wrongly portray the U.S. And don’t say that Iraq is already those things – it is far from as bad as it will be if we cut and run.

   And don’t lie and say you “support” the troops, all the while trying to remove funding from them. You can’t have it both ways. Either you do not support the troops, or you will fund them and support (I know this will hurt you to hear it) your single Commander-In-Chief. Congress is incapable of leading a war. The Founding Fathers were smart enough to know that – why can’t liberals in Congress see that? We have one Commander, not 535. The Constitution can be bothersome, but it is a good document. How about you stick with it instead of acting like spoiled children when they don’t get their way.

   Liberals won at the polls in November – I accept that the American people have spoken (contrary to liberals in both 2000 and 2004). You must accept that the White House is still controlled by someone who, although you don’t respect him, is YOUR elected leader until 2008. You will have a chance to speak at the polls then. If the American people choose to go the liberal way at that time, I will simply have to accept that the U.S. will be in extremely poor shape for many years, and it will take someone like Ronald Reagan to bring us back out.

   I wish I trusted you enough to leave my email address because I would love to have a conversation with you, but with the absolutely immoral things and lack of integrity I see on this website, I don’t trust you not to give my email address out. I also don’t believe you would be able to carry on a reasonable conversation even if you didn’t give out my email address. I find that true with my liberal family members. It seems that conservatives use logic, liberals use emotion, and it is impossible to carry on a real discussion with someone who will not listen to logic but only reacts emotionally. Too bad, because you really have some good points, they are just hidden in the shreiking.

   Just as a solid marriage needs both a woman and a man, the U.S. needs both liberals and conservatives. One has more heart than is good for them to survive, the other has more practicality than is good for them to help others survive. I do wish that we could work together, but alas, that seems impossible when either one or the other will not see that the other has a valid point of view.

   Funny – right after that, you proceeded to refuse to listen to the opinions here, tell the owner of the site what he’s missing (according to your unreferenced, unfounded allegations with no basis in reality) that you consider important, and spew out the mindless babble of those people who already believe as you do. Every single one of your tired Republican’t generalizations (which, by an amazing coincidence, all seem to deride and degrade Democrats) is so mind-numbingly inaccurate it amazes me that you can function in society. Why do you hate your fellow americans more than you hate those your out of control Republican’t masters have bungled us into war with?

   Sort of a case study in Republican’t hypocrisy, as it were…

   Conservatives use logic….oh, you mean like the Bible? Creationism is logic? Believing what Shell Oil and Dow Chemical tell you about the environment over what scientists say is logic? “Rally around the flag” (the oldest political trick in the book) is logic?

   Liberals use emotion…yep, it’s just those crazy liberals. They’re the ones showing pictures of bloody fetuses to women seeking abortions. They’re the ones with the “God Hates Fags” signs. They’re the ones who practically piss themselves whenever anyone suggests that there are things in this government that need fixing.

   I don’t think it’s as cut and dry as you think Harold.

   Hi Tom and Imz. As normal you two are stepping in it so bad that everyone can still smell you from your last posts.
   I’ll help you out here Tom. To start off with the US didn’t go to war in Iraq on just the information that we had. We went in with information from Russia, China, Britain, Germany, and FRANCE. So maybe you should get your facts straight before you start saying that the Bush Admin got us into this because of a lie. If thats the case than 6 countrys lied and germany and france helped get us into this. Not to mention good ole Clinton and his speach in 1998, if you forgot here’s a reminder.

   The policy to remove Saddam Hussein was not left over from the first Bush administration, but, rather, unfinished business from the Clinton administration. Upon entering office in January of 2001, President Bush inherited from the Clinton administration a policy of regime change. That policy was based upon the 1998 Iraq Liberation Act (P.L. 105-338), which stated, “It should be the policy of the United States to support efforts to remove the regime headed by Saddam Hussein from power and to promote the emergence of a democratic government to replace that regime.” This policy was unanimously approved by the Senate and strongly supported by the Clinton administration.
   So tell me Tom who is it that started this whole Iraq thing again?????? Oh yeah. CLINTON and he couldn’t finish the job that he started which means that CLINTON is the one who got us in this war. Now try to debunk those FACTS tom.

There is no such thing as logic in science and as for the enviorment and global warming there is no FACT to back what they claim it is a conscience and there is no such thing as a conscience in science. That is what you learn is grade school or high school science. That is why they can’t explain why the same thing is happening on mars and last time I checked there aren’t any humans on mars.
   As for liberals showing pictures of bloody fetuses. No they don’t show pictures of that they would rather just kill the baby rather than have it put up for addoption. And you can’t tell me that a Partial birth abbortion isn’t killing a baby. Most all libs and dems are for that. As for the remark about god, why don’t you take your ass back to the Library and start reading about the people that founded this country and you just might learn that one of the big things in the lives of the founders was GOD.
   As for logic and emotion Harold was right most if not all Cons think logicly and msot libs adn dems think emotionally.

    As everyone knows Iraq was much better off under Saddam then they are now. 500 people a week were not dying under Saddam. Yeah it was no picnic over there, but as usual Bush has made things much worse then they were. And all so he could steal the oil that gets pumped out of wells that were unmetered. get real Bill, your arguments are so lame its ridiculous.

And even Hans Blix–who headed the U.N. team of inspectors trying to determine whether Saddam had complied with the demands of the Security Council that he get rid of the weapons of mass destruction he was known to have had in the past–lent further credibility to the case in a report he issued only a few months before the invasion.
    Now as for Iraq being better off with Saddam staying in power. Your own pres. bill clinton said that he needed to go and he even signed the 1998 Iraq Liberation Act (P.L. 105-338) which states
    “to establish a program to support a transition to democracy in Iraq.” Specifically, Congress made findings of past Iraqi military actions in violation of International Law and that Iraq had denied entry of United Nations Special Commission on Iraq (UNSCOM) inspectors into its country to inspect for weapons of mass destruction. Congress found: “It should be the policy of the United States to support efforts to remove the regime headed by Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq and to promote the emergence of a democratic government to replace that regime.”
    So you tell me just what it is that you can Impeach Bush on since he was following a LAW that Clinton signed into affect in 1998.
    You want to talk about facts HL well that’s a fact about your good ole buddy bill clinton. He started this crap with Iraq and Bush is having to clean it up.

    As for your claim about the OIL HL I am still waiting for you to SHOW ME THE SOURCE that says that Halliburton or maybe Parsons of Pasadena is taking the oil out of Iraq. Everyone wants to beat up on Halliburton but no one is saying a thing about Parsons of Pasadena. Why is that HL. Is it because it is from your home state or what.

    Dear Bill, tom, Harold:
    I’m no republican or democrat, nor am I a liberal or a conservative, I just use my brain.
    What it looks like is that we got the bate, if China, france, Germany & others had intelligance that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction & they can blow up the world, why the F CK didn’t they march in Iraq (They will be blown up as well). Why did the bush administration take the call, obviously they have been watching to much Superman movies lately, I dont see why I or any other american should die to liberate Iraq, I not that dumb & here is the facts,

    Fact 1: Those wepons were not found.

    Fact 2: If Iraq was so dangerous how did we take Iraq in 1 week (with all the nuces we were told he had) special thanks to the CIA.

    Fact3: How many of our boys died there.( I wont mention as the numbers are depressing).

    Fact4: How much money did Bush & his family & friends (Condaliza, Macdonald, others) make out of this war.(I’m sure most of you know).

    Fact5: Is there any one here ready to go fight in Iraq, send a brother or son there?

    Fact6: Why the F CK are we still there after saddam is dead?

    Fact7: Why didn’t we go to korea I hear there is a soldier or two still alive in Iraq? (considering that they also have nuclear weapons).

    Fact8: Is all these regimes threatining only our country?

    Fact9: Israel & Iran both have nuclear weapons as well, why not go there as well ?

    Do we need to go on, So many questions that only need common sense to be answered………
    More questions in the next episode… ( Just think how we were succred)!!!
