U.S. Muslims outraged after imams kicked off plane

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Muslim leaders expressed outrage on Tuesday after six imams were removed from a commercial airline flight in Minnesota for what they said was nothing more than trying to say evening prayers.
“They were treated like terrorists … humiliated,” said Abu Hannoud, civil rights director for the Arizona chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who said the men were taken off the US Airways flight in handcuffs.
We are concerned that crew members, passengers and security personnel may have succumbed to fear and prejudice based on stereotyping of Muslims and Islam,” added Nihad Awad, executive director of the council, in a statement from the group’s Washington headquarters.
“We call on relevant authorities to investigate whether proper procedures were followed by security personnel and members of the US Airways flight crew,” he said.
The group said the men told it they were accused of “suspicious activity,” which they believed was only their attempt to pray.

Of course Bush is skeptical of Irans offer, because if he was negotiating with Iran, then his good buddies in Israel would not be able to attack them.

Bush is trying to start a war (or get Israel to do it) with a country that want to negotiate with him, this is also the country that could get him out of his quagmire in Iraq. Of course Bush is against any of this. We are never leaving Iraq, why do you think we are building dozens of permanent military bases there (through Uncle Dick Cheney’s Halliburton of course) Exxon/Mobile can’t profit (as much) through Peace.

Students Dropping Out of High School Reaches Epidemic Levels

Plans For 9/11 Responder Autopsies Scrapped

Translation: Concern has been raised that information collected could implicate Bush and the Republicans about lying that the air at ground zero was safe to breath, therby killing even more people at the WTC then the ones that died on 9/11

U.S. mint pushes new $1 coin

WASHINGTON (Reuters) — The U.S. Mint is hoping that Martin Van Buren and Millard Fillmore can do what Susan B. Anthony and Sacagawea couldn’t - get Americans to use dollar coins.

The Mint on Monday revealed the design of the new U.S. $1 coin, which will be issued in a series that will eventually include the faces of each U.S. president.

It will release four new presidential dollars each year, starting with George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison in 2007. The Van Buren dollar will be released in 2008 and the Fillmore in 2010.

This is a move by Bush to legitimize him in History. By the time the Nixon coin comes out in 2016, no one will remember what an A**hole he was, People will think, “hey he was another President just like Abe Lincoln and John Kennedy. It won’t work, Bush will go down in History as the worst President ever by far, and someone will stop this travesty way before then.
