War Ships Sailing For Iran

Posted in Main Blog (All Posts) on October 11th, 2006 10:16 am by HL

Is Bush about to make the biggest military blunder in history, and start a war with Iran, right before the election, does he think that will save the Republcians from losing Congress?

The Bush War on Iran, the US Constitution, and the UN Charter

Buzzflash
Excerpt
“Time magazine and many international sources have reported a major US air-sea build-up in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Sea, in preparation for a US assault on Iran which is considered to be imminent. When is the President planning to call Congress back into session to ask for a Declaration of War, which he will need, under Section 8, Article I of the Constitution, in order to proceed?”

The “international sources” mentioned in the proposed question above include Time, “What the War with Iran Would Look Like” (9/25/06), and those appearing in the extensive reference list (85 of them in fact) of “The March to War,” by M.D. Nazemroaya,

H.L.s Take
Maybe thats the cover he needs to steal the congressional elections he needs, then they can come on TV and say. “See Americans are worried about safety beyond all else, thats why they voted for us again.”

HL come on you think that deploying ships over to the area of Iran in getting ready to goto war. Try again. If that is true than that means when they deployed the sub I was on to the north pole and we were in the Barren Straits that ment that we were going to war with Russia. You have no idea how many ships are already over there and you wouldn’t even know how many sub’s are there now. As for N. Korea we could end that problem with one sub and they wouldn’t even know what hit them. A Trident Sub carries enough missles to make Korea go away. So you think we really need surface ships in Iran to start that crap. Dream on. You have no idea what the US has as far as a militay goes. We are not spread to thin. The only ships we don’t have any more are the Battleships but we still have the rest.

  2. Buzz Says:

Or maybe just maybe he is afraid Iran with a nuke is not a good idea??

  3. HL Says:

And why not, do you seriously think that Iran would send a nuke over here knowing that the U.S. could wipe out the entire country in a matter of minutes. If thats the case how come Russia has never tried to use nukes on us? for the same reason that we don’t use nukes on them.

  4. Buzz Says:

I know Iran does not have the capability to deliver a nuke with a missle. That does not mean that they would not sell or give one to a terrorist organization.

I am not real worried about the situation. Israel will take care of the problem before it gets to that.

  5. Buck Says:

Adolf Hitler and Ahmod Amahdinijad remind me alot of each orther. They both have gone on spitting tirades and speeches about destroying the jews. Hitler went on his European rampage shortly there after! Why would any of us believe that Ahmadinijad or the Supreme leader would not commit suicide? Hitler did it! He just did it in a different way. Had he had the bomb(and he was close) he would have been willing to do what Ahmadinijad or Kim Jong IL are trying to do now?
H.L., Do I think that they would send a nuke over here knowing the US would wipe them out in a matter of minutes? Quite frankly partner YES. I Do think they would. In a New York minuet. This is 2006. There are Radical islamic nations with leaders willing to die. We are sending ships to get a ready. Thats not the only thing. Come on now folks. The equation is easy. North Korea wants South Korea. It cant take it unless the USA is held at bay. Iran no doubt will offer endless energy resources to North Korea in exchange for minuterized nukes for missiles. Of which they will not be able to refuse. With the bomb Iran will wage nuke war with the USA as they try to forfill their absolute dreams of Islamic world conquest!

  6. Buck Says:

Oh , by the way the She-hab 5 Iranian ICBM is alot further along that what some might think!
2-6 years until deployment! With their intermediate range missiles and the nukes from North Korea they could blow any city in Europe away RIGHT NOW! And dont forget ! There is talk o’Chavo down in Venezuala wants to let Iran deploy those very same intermediate range missiles in his country! Guess who they will be pointed at? Buck out!

  7. LA Says:

You boys watch to many bullshit movies and are terribly brainwashed and damaged. Tell us something new for a change. Do you happen to work for the government or some kind of right wing sponsered organization?

Bill: Let’s flip things around. let’s suppose that the Chinese navy deployed warships, aircraft carriers off the coast of Manhattan. Would not raise your alarm? And so what that US forces can cover their ground, that is not the point, it’s the act of naval operations and what that infers.

If you were an analyst, would you call the operation “Carnical Cruises?”

Buzz: You may want to stop reading those cheap dime novels you always seem to rely on. Israel doesn’t need nukes, so don’t worry about any Arab country selling them nukes.

Buck: Your analogy is not relevant to this argument. You suffer from ADD and delusions.

  8. Buzz Says:

    LA,

You were not paying attention yet again. I never said Israel needed nukes, they have them already. My point was that Israel won’t let Iran develop them no matter what the US has to say about it.

I don’t read cheap novels so no worries.

  9. Buck Says:

When did you become a spokes person for the interests of communist China? ‘Lets flip things around’. Things are not flipped around. They are as they are in the real world. Not LA’s flipped around world. You need to flip back to reality. I wonder if China’s communist leaders are careing about us like you do them? I wonder if they are telling each orther ‘lets flip things around’? Like they were concerned for us or something! Like it was us who envied them! I wonder if the Iranians whom you worship are telling each orther that? And LA, its my relevance that is bothering you.

  10. Bill Says:

    LA
It is apparent that you know nothing about what the Navy does. The Navy has had Sub’s off the coast of every country on the planet. If you think that N. Korea is a problem that’s fine, if you think that China cares about what the US thinks than why do they and Russia refuse to agree to the sanctions that the US wasnts to put on N.Korea? If I remember it was China that told the US that if we helped Thiland that they would declare war againest us. Sounds like China is real affraid of the US. So to answer your question if China did it to us yes it would be considered an act of war. But if you paid attention than you would know that we didn’t send a force large enough to go to war all that is going over there is a battle group for a carrier.

  11. LA Says:

Bill: “It is apparent that you know nothing about what the Navy does.”

LA: Okay “Admiral” Bill. You must know being an “insider.”

Bill: “The Navy has had Sub’s off the coast of every country on the planet.”

LA: I’m impressed with your knowledge. So do the Russians, Brits, Israeli’s, Chinese, French, and assorted other navies.

Bill: “If you think that N. Korea is a problem that’s fine, if you think that China cares about what the US thinks than why do they and Russia refuse to agree to the sanctions that the US wasnts to put on N.Korea?”

LA: I don’t think NK is the problem. The problem is the US meddling in other countries right to defend themselves. The Chinese and Russians have no reason to buckle to US demands. They see right thru things. China has more US dollar reserves than any coutnry in the world. They are the leading exporter in the world. Russian has the largest untapped oil reserves in the world. They don’t need to follow DC’s initiatives that are sole serving. The Chinese and Russians are smarter than you give them credit for. Haven’t you heard that Imperialism is a dieing political and econmic model?

Bill: “If I remember it was China that told the US that if we helped Thiland that they would declare war againest us. Sounds like China is real affraid of the US.”

LA: I would think that if the US or any other country gets to cozy with Thailand’s military, that the Chinese would object considering that they a regional neighbors. The only interest the US has in Thailand has been oil and the drug trade. Thailand sits in the “Golden Triangle.”
And I doubt that China is afraid of the US. They’re more concerened with the irresponsibility of leadership in DC. Congress is useless and so is the President.

Bill: “So to answer your question if China did it to us yes it would be considered an act of war. But if you paid attention than you would know that we didn’t send a force large enough to go to war all that is going over there is a battle group for a carrier.”

LA: You just agreed with my contention. Even if the US deploys a small battle carrier group, nukes are on board. I can see where many countries would perceive it as a provocation. As an American, it’s a waste of my tax money. It’s plain US arrogance and a continuation of the War dream Bush and his cabal have.

The bottom line is that since Bush has been in office, we are in a worse position that we were when he started. The botton line is that if you support war, then go enlist or re-enlist. If you’re getting to old, then Blackwater might hirer you. There are plenty of ways to see war action around the world.

If I supported war, I would find a way to go fight. Talk is cheap when you don’t stand on the battle front.

Rational minds think “bring the troops home NOW!”

  12. lilcalf Says:

    meh!

  13. Bill Says:

LA once again you open your mouth and show just how stupid you are and that you know nothing about what you are talking about.

LA: I’m impressed with your knowledge. So do the Russians, Brits, Israeli’s, Chinese, French, and assorted other navies.

Bill: Russia doesn’t have a Sub that we can’t hear let alone find. The Brits are our allie, the french don’t have any sub’s and their navy is a joke, less than 200 ships nothing bigger than a Frigate. The Chinese are the same as the French. THe only country that “was” comparable to the US was Russia and non of their ship had or have the advancements that ours have.

Bill: well if Imperialism is a dieing model than why is China still following it. If you don’t think that N.K. is a problem than why did Clinton want a treaty with them so bad that he sent Carter over there to get one. And what did Japan do to N.K. to desirve getting a missle fired over them in 1998 form N.K. You want to blame Bush for this thing in N. K. but no matter how hard you try you can’t fight the facts that N.K. has been developing nuc’s since Clinton and maybe even farther back than that. I do believe Clinton was in office when N.K. fired a missle over japan and off hte coast of Alaska but you don’t remember that do you. What did we do to N.K. back than? Guess that would be Clintons fault than wouldn’t it. As for Russia they are broke their economy is in the crapper but I guess that is the US’s fault to. The only thing China has on the US is soliders that’s it.

Bill:Once again you are talking out of the side of your neck. We have been allies with Thailand since 1954 and have had many treaties with Thailand since so why would we not go to Thailands aid. Since the Treaty of manila said that in the event of a military attack that we would help them but I guess we shouldn’t follow a treaty that we had with them since 54 we should just let china wioe them out.

Bill: Do you have any idea how many planes are on a carrier? here I’ll help you out, 82. Do you know how many ships are in a battle group? 6 A carrier, a guided missle cruiser, 2 guided missle destroyers, 1 attack sub, and 1 supply ship. Yeah there are a lot of nuc’s there. Let’s see the cruiser, destroyers, and the sub don’t carry full loads of nuc’s so I would guess that the carrier isn’t either. Wether they are or not they still don’t have enough to level N.K. or Iran with what they have.

LA: Rational minds think “bring the troops home NOW!”

Bill: Well I guess that is why your “Rational minds” are in charge and running the country now. The American people have seen what the “Rational minds” do and they didn’t want them there any more. You think that the Lib’s are the ones with the power in this country than you better look at the latest Battle ground poll. It says that 61% of the people in the US call themselves Con’s and only 35% call themselves Lib’s. I guess your out voted. In fact you can read it for your self.
