I just don't believe it will cost nothing. Insurance cost's something. I do think you have a point about preventitive being more cost effective than the alternative. I don't want another government or state agency to have to be created to help us get there or handle the program. If that were the case just give everyone Kaiser or whoever and pay the bills like it normally gets done. What do you think the government will do with the money if they are all of a sudden in charge of such a plan or in charge of all the funds?? I would say waste them, maybe a private company could be in charge of the uninsured or something. I don't know or have the answers, but giving the government a butt load more money is not it. lmz,

I had health problems last year that came out of nowhere and the bills were well over $30,000. I was never so happy for insurance in my life! I paid about $3,000 out of pocket. I feel badly for the people who run into the same problems and can't get the type of care I got with my insurance at a wonderful hospital. I have very little faith that any hospital in this area other than the one I was in (UCLA) would have helped me.
