Allen’s “Macaca” Mess Hurting Bid For Re-Election

Jabbs
Excerpt
I Love black peopleNot surprisingly, Allen’s campaign manager, Dick Wadhams, is trying to rally the troops behind Allen, and against what Wadhams perceives as a mass effort to vilify Allen “in a desperate attempt to revive a campaign that was fast-sinking – the Webb campaign.”
(Note: Wadhams’ memo came two days before the SurveyUSA poll.)
As the folks at MyDD.com point out: Wadhams “blames the media, pundits, Democrats, liberal groups, and Moveon.org for Allen’s racist gaffe. He says that it’s the Democrats that are playing the race card. The only person who isn’t to blame, in fact, is saintly George Allen.”
Virginians apparently aren’t buying that script, no matter how hard Allen’s conservative friends scream it from the rafters

H.L.s Take
Republicans built their party on racism. Thats how they took the south away from Democrats many years ago. They usually speak in ways that deliver the subtext. “We hate niggers, we can’t say we hate niggers, but you know we do, and we know you do, so vote for us.” But every now and then one slips and shows his true feelings. Then of course the next step is to blame the “Librul Media” If you don’t think people still think this way, check the discussion forums on any Yahoo story that has anything to do with race, or black people. They say that racism is learned from your environment. I wonder of Allens father felt the same way about all the black football players he was the head coach of on The Washington Redskins.

Man what a dolt……..I guess you are looking for work because you can’t get enough advertising. With comments like the one above it is no wonder.

I have African American friends. We party together, and played football together. I have serious disagreements with most African Americans on politics. I dont think it means anything. I just think in the end It is not racial. Most African americans think that economics is more important than national security. I dont feel that the majority of Americans feel that way however. I think this angers and frustrates most African Americans. This causes them to overwhelmingly vote democratic. As one might expect. Its just the way that it is. It is similar to the way millions of poor southern whites vote republican because national security is alot more important to them than the democrats wish it was. It is just the way that it is. On top of orther things.

  3. lmz90028 Says:

I think it’s great that HL, unlike the rest of the media world, doesn’t censor his thoughts or words because he’s worried about advertising money. We get enough of that with TV, radio, newspapers, magazines….

  4. HL Says:

Ok Buzz, So I guess there is no racism in the republican party in places like Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennesse, Kentucky, Georgia, Arkansas, and other places like Idaho.
Come on you know one of the main reasons all these people vote against there own self interests is because they know that the Republican party hates and fears the black man. Guess I struck a nerve if you had to resort to name calling.

  5. Buck Says:

I do not hate and fear the black man myself. I just think that most are straight up wrong on Americas global position as well as economics. My self interests, thank you very much happen to be with national security. H.l. it is true that some people in the republican party dont like african americans. I think you overshoot the mark. Those racists types who vote republican are similar in numbers to the communists who vote democratic. There is plenty of flies and stink to go around. The communist party did not endorse Kerry for nothing. Do you know what Im saying?

  6. lmz90028 Says:

Buck, I’m really curious about where you heard about this Commies for Kerry stuff. You do know that website was a JOKE right??

  7. HL Says:

Oh and by the way Buzz, we have 2 new advertisers. Burnlounge and Act for Change.

Check them out, and thanks for your concern about my finances. H.L.

  8. LA Says:

    Buck:

: ) I’m laughing about your comment that “[t]hose racists types who vote republican are similar in numbers to the communists who vote democratic.”

Do you really believe that Communists exist in the USA and have any influence in politics? And they must vote Democrat? Just like them people from Palestine are “terrorists.”

Come on now, do you really believe that “bovine excrement?”

Communism is dead! It has been for so long. You’re so hung up in the past and just regurgitating that same BS we’ve already heard.

Find something new. Try someting more current. Maybe you should try Al-Qaeda, because they’re the only ones that are “gonna getcha.” 😉 They’re gonna have you ass soon because you’re a Republican.

Watch out for Osama (I haven’t) Bin La[id]en a long time!

  9. LA Says:

    Buzz,

So what is it you’re saying? You appear to be an amateur at agitprop but nothing else? What’s your job nowadays?

If you can’t say more, then invite your friends or associates that can, because you’re “limp at the post!”

  10. Buzz Says:

LA or should I say Mel the jew hater?? What is your beef?? Sorry I don’t read this site everyday anymore. It seems irrelevent to do so. No real news here just people who are not getting their way and want to bitch and complain about it. As far as being limp at the post you should re read all the half witted crap you have posted.

If I am limp at the post I am not sure how to best describe your efforts.

    HL,

Racisim is a personal choice for some and something learned for others. For you to state that a group of individules is all racist is assine. I am sure there are some racisit democrats and republicans heck independents as well.

The nerve you struck first and foremost is the term you used to describe american blacks. I am sure Danny Glover and the congresswomen he is supporting will love you for it. It shows a lack of sensitivity and good judgement on your part. There are more ways to get your point across then using terms that people find offensive.

  11. HL Says:

You know Buzz, you are not as intelligent as I gave you credit for. To imply that just because someone who doesn’t support Israel in what they are doing to Palestine, and Lebanon, makes them a jew hater is ridiculous. I don’t support what America is doing in Iraq, does that make me an America hater? If I used the word “all” to describe republicans as racists that was my bad, I shold have said “many’ or “most” To use the word all when taking about any group of people is crazy. And as for that word that I used that you mentioned, I suppose you are going to tell me you never used that word. Of couse the fact that I used the word to show how republicans feel, (not myself) should be obvious to anyone with a brain. So what are you really upset about? Could it be that you came on here and attempted to move me and this site to the center and it didn’t work? I am betting that if Danny Glover saw my comment he would understand what I was doing and would not be upset about it.

  12. Buzz Says:

    HL

The comment to LA was in response to him agreeing with Mel that the Jews are responsible for all the world wars. Why you decided to jump on that is beyond me as I was not referring to anything you did or did not say.

I still think using the term many or most is not being accurate either. I guess we can’t really count them up per dem or repub as they would lie and say that they were not.

It is obvious you used the word…….because you did it right there in your post. I don’t recall this being about me using any derogatory word to describe anyone. It was in reference to the fact that you are using a terrible word to describe how one group feels about another. With no actual facts to back it up. We are just supposed to believe it because you say it is so.

You have no authority to describe how anyone feels about the situation besides yourself. I have not tried to move anyone anywhere on anything. What I have tried to do is be a more centerist moderate common sense kind of guy and debate with others.

  13. LA Says:

    Buzz,

You asked for it. In Mel’s defense, let’s look at history.

Whether Mel Gibson is right or wrong, when history is analytically reviewed without bias, the truth is revealed.

Let’s start with WW1. Take a look at some of the most influential cast of characters that influenced President Wilson, his key advisors and bankrollers in support of US involvement in WWI and other global conflicts at the time. Please feel free to dispute or correct this historical record.

    ==============================================================

    1. Bernard M. Baruch — During World War I he advised President Woodrow Wilson on national defense, during which time he became the chairman of the War Industries Board. While in this position, he hired as his stenographer, Billy Rose. At the war’s conclusion he was seen with President Wilson at the Versailles Peace Conference. He supported numerous Democratic Congressmen with $1000 annual campaign donations, and became a popular figure on Capitol Hill. He never ran for elective office.

    2. Edward Mandell House — Edward Mandell House (1858-1938), self-styled “Colonel” House (colonel in nickname only) served as President Woodrow Wilson’s closest confidant during the four years of the First World War.

A politician from a prominent Texan family, House established a reputation as a notable behind-the-scenes Democrat political operator in Texas during the 1890s.

An ambitious man, House sought to exert influence at the national level, an aim he achieved with his alliance with Wilson, whom he first met in November 1911 and whom he backed in the following year’s presidential election.

Initially one of numerous advisors, House’s increasingly close relationship with Wilson boosted his influence until he was widely acknowledged as the president’s closest confidant. At home, House was instrumental in bringing onside moderate political journalists such as Walter Lippmann.

    3. Paul Warburg – Paul Warburg was born in Germany in 1868. The son of Moses Warburg and brother of Felix Warburg (1871-1937) of M. M. Warburg & Co of Hamburg, moved to the United States, where he became a partner of Kuhn, Loeb and Co, where he joined Otto Kahn and Jacob Schiff. Warburg, a member of the Democratic Party, was a member of Brains Trust that advised Franklin D. Roosevelt when he was governor of New York. Warburg died in 1932.
Warburg was born into a successful banking family in Hamburg, Germany. He and his brothers Max Warburg and Felix Warburg were partners in the family firm of M. M. Warburg & Co., but while Max remained in Germany as head of that business, Felix and Paul moved to New York City in 1901, where they purchased partnerships in the investment firm of Kuhn, Loeb & Co., where at the time, the influential Jacob Schiff was senior partner.
Paul Warburg became known as a persuasive advocate of private central banking in America, in 1907 publishing Defects and Needs of Our Banking System in the New York Times and A Plan for A Modified Central Bank. His efforts were successful in 1913 with the founding of the United States’ Federal Reserve, to which he was appointed a member of the first Federal Reserve Board by president Woodrow Wilson. His family banks in Amsterdam and Hamburg as well as Kuhn, Loeb & Co. became owners of the Federal Reserve Banks of course.

    4. Jacob Henry Schiff — Schiff was prominent in floating loans for the U.S. government and for foreign nations. He took great delight in floating a spectacular bond issue of 200 million dollars for Japan to help them in their war with Czarist Russia, 1904-1905. Schiff was angered and infuriated with the anti-Semitic pogroms and policies of the czar. Helping Japan fight Russia was one of his methods of striking back at anti-Semitism.
Jacob Henry Schiff was born on January 10, 1847, in Frankfurt- am-Main, Germany. The son of Moses and Clara (Niederhofheim) Schiff, he was a descendant of a distinguished rabbinical family that could trace its lineage back to 1370. He received a secular and religious education at the Israelitische Religionsgesellschaft (a local school).
At age 18, Schiff emigrated to the United States and became a citizen. He went to work in a brokerage firm in New York and he later became a partner in Budae, Schiff and Company. He met and fell in love with Theresa Loeb, the daughter of Solomon Loeb, head of the banking firm, Kuhn, Loeb and Company. They were married on May 6, 1875, and he entered her father’s firm.

Are all Jews responsible for World Wars? NO. One cannot collectively hold any racial group accountable for a some of their brethen’s legacy. The facts are what they are.

Let’s ask this hyphthetical questino, if each character named above were German or Arab, would you not hold Germans or Arabs accountable?

After this post, we should look at WWII.

  14. LA Says:

Let’s ask this hypothetical question, if each charater named above were German or Arab, would you not hold Germans or Arabs accountable?

  15. Buzz Says:

    LA

Your answer at the very end was all I was looking for you to admit.

Are all Jews responsible for World Wars? NO. One cannot collectively hold any racial group accountable for a some of their brethen’s legacy.

  16. LA Says:

I think we all know what Gibson’s point was. The list of names I provided back his statement up. We can continue and do a WWII analysis with the same results. Does “Jews” mean every Jew? That all depends on how you interpret the statement. Anyhow, Gibson is correct and history proves it.

  17. Buzz Says:

    LA

You know what Gibson’s point was?? That is why I always ask if you are Mel himself. So you have some advisors names. You act like those five people had everything to do with it. I am not sure what your little story proves about anything.

It says some people advised some presidents at some point…….WOW BFD!!! How many advisors do you think these guys have?? Do you think they listen and do what each one of them says??

I am not going to dispute the ” historical record ” as I don’t need to. This is what you have?? This is your proof that jews were at fault for the first WW?? What does it prove exactly?? The pres had some jewish advisors…..man oh man you really got me there.

How do you know it wasn’t one of his catholic advisors that command him to get going in WW I. Maybe it was his butler or his cook or some Mexican guy.

If those last five names up there were hispanic would the mexicans have been responsible for WW I??

I have to say, that I could not agree with you in 100% regarding Mess Hurting Bid For Re-Election – The Hollywood Liberal, but it’s just my opinion, which could be wrong 🙂
