Looks like Bush is being ignored by his good friends Arnold Swarzenegger, and Tony Blair. They have decided to work together to find ways to stop greenhouse gas emissions, and Global Warming. Once again proving to the entire world what a complete Moron, and fool our President. How bad does that look when individual states are going over the head of the idiot in chief and taking matters like this into their own hands. I love it. California once again on the forefront, here is the story.

Britain, California unite against global warming
Excerpt:
LONG BEACH – Britain and California are joining forces to fight global warming, sidestepping the Bush administration to explore ways to curb greenhouse gas emissions and promote clean-burning fuels.
British Prime Minister Tony Blair and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger announced a pact Monday to work together on those issues as they met with business leaders on clean energy and climate issues against the backdrop of a BP oil tanker at a terminal in the Port of Long Beach.
“We see that there is not great leadership from the federal government when it comes to protecting the environment,†Schwarzenegger said. “We know there is global warming, so we should stop it.â€
Blair called global warming “long term, the single biggest issue we face.â€
H.L.s Take:
So far it looks like Arnold is starting to back away from the Bushs and actually is starting to try to do something for California. He knows its the only chance he has to win re-election. And as usual the clueless democrats can’t get out of their own way, and are probably going to hand the election to Swarzenneger. Arnold is running a commercial here that says. “One mans opinion on Phil Angelidies.” (The Democratic nominee) They say all sorts of nasty things about Angelides, then at the end it is revealed that the quotes came from the guy Angelides ran against in the primaries. Fellow Democrat Steve Westley. Looks like they could take a lesson from Ronald Reagan, never speak ill of your fellow Republicans, just one more reason they win and Dems. lose

I might vote for Arnold. Just because he is the only one running who has not been a career politician.

The Arnold-Blair agreement is not going to help at all. The thing is full of loopholes and exceptions so that no one who is causing the real harm will actually be bound by anything. There was a great writeup on it earlier this week in the SF Chronicle.

LMZ is correct, there is no teeth to the agreement. However it just goes to show how out of touch with reality Bush is. When his number 1 ally, and The Republican Governor of the biggest state in the U.S. come out and virtually slap him in the face and say what an idiot he is, thats gotta make him look bad, although he doesn’t really need any help in that department does he?

Here is a fun little fact alot of you pinheads might not know.
You remember the great immigration bill that almost everyone in the senate voted for? Well the actual funding for the bill is on a different bill entirely. Guess what?? The actual funding for the bill that was passed WAS NOT PASSED by the same group.
They all voted for the bill without the funding attached so they can say I am tough on immigration. When it came time to vote to fund it it failed miserably.
Prime example of your government working hard for you.
