Gee, wildbill, I seem to have missed the part where HL says that heads getting chopped off is ‘insurgency’ in liberalese. I also can’t seem to find where he says that sort of thing is any better or worse than what we have pictures of the Israeli children doing with their parents looking on in admiration. In fact, I see no reference whatsoever to anything like the completely unrelated activity of some terrorists in another country altogether. And no connection, either – except for the false definition you put in your coment about what you think something means in some sort of language called liberalese.

Funny that when soldiers were writing stuff on bombs during the first go around in the gulf it was no big deal. You have some jewish kids writing things on bombs and it is a bad thing??

I have no sympathy for Israel. At one time, I sided with Israel but always questioned their behavior. Thru the years, I’ve seen them at their worst and am unconvinced that their behavior is justified. Israel has no justification for invading Lebanon and attacking civilians just as their opponents shouldn’t attack Israeli citizens.
What would you do if foreign (Europeans) colonizers (zionists) came to your homeland and tell you to get off of your land? You’d probably resist as I would. However, the zionists bombed the Palestinians, killed entire families, poisoned their water, destroyed their crops and were proud of it
What would you do if you were in that position? Either you’d resist or leave. Most prudent people would leave when they stare down the barrel of a gun. That’s what Palestinians did. They were terrorized off the land. Millions of them ended up in Lebanon, Jordan, Gaza, West Bank and other surrounding countries.
Until you understand the dynamics involved here, the injustice imposed upon the Palestinian people by zionists and the west, day to day, you can’t understand why Israel is in the situation its in and why the world opposses them.
The world knows more about MIddle East history than most US citizens. But why is that? Becauae the zionists control the press in the USA, UK, academia, finance and other resources. Thus you don’t ever see the true story, or at least, the other sides’ point of view.
Many people think Israel should be wiped off the map. I don’t support any action which gives us that result.
I do agree with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (and countless other statesmen and intellectuals) that zionism is the problem. If you consider who WH advisors to Bush are, the talking heads on TV, Ahmadinejad is right on point. If you watched the Pat Buchanan segment on Hardball, he basically alluded to the same thing. Israel can do nothing abouth that supply. that is where the U.S. comes in. We should supply Israel with all the weapons they need. With a massive air bombardment from hell, the U.S. Could wipe out the supply flow lines from Iran to Syria to Lebanon. As well, Iran could give up all notion of ever being a nuclear power.
