Putin Jabs Bush:We Certainly Would Not Want The Same Kind of Democracy As They Have in Iraq
During a press conference today at the G8 summit in Russia, President Bush told President Vladimir Putin that Americans want Russia to develop a free press and free religion like Iraq. To laughter and applause, Putin responded: We certainly would not want to have same kind of democracy as they have in Iraq, quite honestly. CNN& Ed Henry called it a tough jab. Watch it
The exchange underscores how the war in Iraq has damaged the standing of the United States, to the point where even modest encouragement for democratic reform is met with ridicule.

Thanks for the post. The best thing about this video is the press laughing at Putin’s remarks because it’s such a diss on Bush. I’m embarrased as an American that the world laughs at Bush and the USA. Does the monkey have any credibility?

Vladimir Putin has no room to complain about any thing. He now controls the press in Russia. He is rapidly consolidating power. He is helping Iran build nuclear weapons. Russia is like a big nuclear weapons, missile, and arms pin-yatta that just busted. And the little kiddie dictators from North Korea, Iran, syria, Libya, and Venezuala, come a running.
Kind of reminds me of when a humanitarian truck backs up to some starving to unload. When the package is unloaded the mob erupts……..
But since yall neo libs think that those things are from FICTION boogy man land. We can just cut military spending till the cows come home.
