Schwarzenegger to Hold Special Election

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said Tuesday he will go over legislators' heads and take his case straight to the voters with a special election later this year on overhauling pensions, teacher pay and the way political districts are drawn.
H.L.s Take: This is why they put him in office. He wants to take California, and turn it into Alabama. No more help for teachers, (because we want our kids as stupid as possibe, so they will buy Arnolds bullshit without question), And they want to redraw political districts to give the Republicans an advantage in elections, just like they did in Texas. This happens to be illegal, but The republicans are above the law these days. I read one story that said, they want to have one California distict that includes a large chunk of up north republicans connected to a smaller chunk of SoCal Democrats. the 2 chunks are nowhere near each other, they would be connected by a strip of land no wider then a freeway, this would neutralize this large section of Demcrats
and would have them in a district with a majority of Republicans.
He said he and supporters will start gathering signatures to place the measures on the ballot. No date has been set for the special election, but it would probably be held in the fall.
Of course once Arnold makes California an all electronic voting state, that won't matter anyway because then The Republicans will never lose another election here, because The Democrats still haven't figured out that the owners of all the E-Voting companies are huge contirbutors of the Republicans...or maybe they have figured out but don't care becuase they are all in it together against us. The People.
Schwarzenegger has been threatening such a move for months. It would pit the popular Republican governor against some of the state's most powerful political forces including the majority Democratic Party and the teachers union. During a news conference, Schwarzenegger endorsed three specific initiatives. They would privatize the state's public-employee pension funds,
Anytime they use the word "Privatize" it means "put it in the hands of bankers, and financiers, who can then steal it all"which manage more than $300 billion in investments; Thats a lot of money for Arnold and the Republicans to take away from the teachers, and keep for themselves, forcing teachers to quit kids to get stupid
give authority for drawing legislative and congressional districts to a panel of retired judges;
A panel of retired judges, Wow that sounds encouraging, you dont suppose they care more about The citizens of California then they do about the Anrold, and the republicas staying Rich, And who gets to pick these judges Arnold? and tie teacher pay to merit rather than seniority. In other words the raises will be decided by politics, so if you espouse any dangerous ideas, such as The constitution, the bill of rights, etc. fugetaboutit
"The problems are too big to ignore and too dangerous," Schwarzenegger said.
Translation: The opportunity to grab a bag full of cash, while screwing the residents is too huge to ignore
While Schwarzenegger also wants to create a constitutional requirement that would impose across-the-board spending cuts when revenue falls short, on Tuesday he did not endorse any of the proposed initiatives that are being developed. Yeah sounds like he really wants it bad. You see Arnold knew there was no way to get what he wanted through the regular way of doing business, through the leglisature, so he will let the people vote on it, There is no way he should be able to win this, but hes the Governator, so plenty of idiots will vote yes just becuase of that. If he wins, its just more proof that they are stealing votes even here in California.

Hunter telephoned me on Feb. 19, the night before his death. He sounded scared. It wasn't always easy to understand what he said, particularly over the phone, he mumbled, yet when there was something he really wanted you to understand, you did. He'd been working on a story about the World Trade Center attacks and had stumbled across what he felt was hard evidence showing the towers had been brought down not by the airplanes that flew into them but by explosive charges set off in their foundations. Now he thought someone was out to stop him publishing it: "They're gonna make it look like suicide," he said. "I know how these bastards think . . ."

H.L.s Take: I don't know who this Paul William Roberts is, or how well he knew Hunter. This Hunter was murdered angle is starting to get legs. Of course Hunter has been saying that 9/11, was an inside job for a long time. I did a google search linking the two and could only find Mr. Roberts mentioning Hunter in some article, sounds like he was just a fan. This story seems like B.S. to me. If Hunter was really afraid for his life Is this Roberts guy the person he would call. He must have called others before this guy, and no one else that really knew Hunter has stepped forward with any similar info. Lets see if anything else turns up.

The Interstate Bank Fire in Downtown L.A. 1988

Excerpt: WTC1, WTC2 and WTC7 are the only steel-structure buildings ever to have collapsed (allegedly) as a result of fire. There are several cases of fires in other such buildings, none of which collapsed. In May 1988 a fire at the Interstate Bank Building in Los Angeles (Which H.L. personally witnessed) destroyed four floors and damaged a fifth floor of the modern 62-story building.
